Nice read that was i couldnt " like " it for some reason....i think the pit bulls were addictive a lot of young lads of our generation had a healthy respect for their physical prowess and that was good enough for most i just happened to be one of them " in for a penny in for a pound types " ? I wasnt raised around dogs it was something i fell into in my late teens through having a few dubious associates a little bit older and wiser than me at the time....but from the minute i saw the dogs in action and spent time around them i was hooked and was like a sponge in my learning in every area21 points

Literally toilet humour again . And why do you think it went like clock work and immaculately ? Cause the armed forces ran the gaff , not some panel of industry jostling for position. Them lads started the day it was announced of passing , and didn’t stop , even doing midnight based dry full rehearsals in London last week. Credit where it’s due as the army have done f***ing wonders there imho20 points

Imagine being so bitter and poisonous that you could actually find fault in that whole day yesterday....unbelievable. The more i see of that William lad i like him i think he'll make a great chief if its all still about when his time comes.11 points

He was a lovely, quiet man , who just got on doing his own thing , he never bothered anyone. The clay club was his life , and he left all his guns and reloading kit to the club . They had a sealed bid auction for all his stuff and I think they did well out of it . I miss having a chat to him .7 points

I wouldn't worry about the cost of the funeral.....it cost roughly the same as keeping the illegal immigrants in hotels for a day, I know which I'd rather spend the money on ? Cheers.7 points

You have no idea where I’m going to go, it all depends on what questions you are asking doesn’t it You asked about a British police operation that is all about black gang crime, not once did I mention colour…..not once ! You do this all the time I have noticed, ask something and then get all pissy about the answers you receive…..try asking something on a subject you may like a whole lot better maybe ? If you don’t want to get replies that may or may not be race related then don’t discuss subjects that are race related….it’s not f***ing rocket science is it6 points

I was clearing the garage out a while back and came across 3 black bin liners full of Journals and stuff i forgot i even had ! Back in the 80's/90's virtually as soon as your match was over you would send a match report in to the SDJ it was a Yank mag but internationally it was pretty much the only way you could see how other dogs and kennels from foreign countries were doing...........at the time you had to be vouched for so it was reliable but towards the end anyone could get it and you ended up having match reports sent in that had never even happened !6 points

No Mchull wormed and flead should be second nature all year round regardless, nobody should start any form of exercise with an unhealthy dog.....im talking about preparing a dog for hard work i used to pre keep a dog on a very low fat diet maybe cooked chicken, chicken broth, small cup of all bran, sometimes a couple cloves of chopped garlic...some folk used to say raw garlic was slightly toxic and was too hard on the dogs stomach lining but i found if you cooked it there was no problem and it was a natural anti inflammatory. Getting rid of what we called the gut fat was essential to do befor5 points

I do apologise for giving a reasonable counter argument to what the bloke said. I bet a lot of people would say the same. Don’t be all sensitive, there’s an old saying “Don’t ask questions you may not want the answer to”5 points

Seeing those reloads reminds me off my recently deceased next door neighbour whose name coincidentally was Bernard. He was a keen clay shot and avid reloader . He was a committee member of Cheltenham clay shooting club and he got me to go with him on a number of occasions. His reloads were the stuff of legend at that club . There were huge explosions , clouds of smoke , or a tiny little “ phut”. You never knew what was going to happen. But the funniest thing was when the tyre on his disabled scooter exploded with a huge bang between the stands . It had everyone in stitches . When he5 points

Your answer is in your question mate .You means singular .We are so divided on this Island that even if another country waged outright war at our beaches quarter would fight ,quarter would run ,quarter would do their best to make friends and the other cretins would ring their hands .No solidarity and that’s why the place is overrun with vermin .4 points

Sorry, should have losted this in the fishing section Finished mole-patrol by 2:30 and I had some tackle in the car so I stopped off at my new favourite location. First I fished a foot deep and was rewarded with a rudd straight out of a Bernard Venables painting. Setting more depth resulted in a couple of small bream either side of some zoo creature that took 20 yards of line before I added more drag and lost the hook link. A carassin came next then what looked like a bream roach hybrid on my fourth last cast. Just under 2 hours and home in time for tea.3 points

It probably (and this is just a guess) puts the officer in a lot more danger but if they use lethal force the natives riot and there’s a 3 year enquiry and it all costs about £30 million ! Im guessing it’s cheaper to let an officer die and pay compo to the family.3 points

Just think with cost of living crisis for rest of us, they'd have got more respect saying "we're gonna scale it back a bit. Friends & family at the crem, then meet back at the hungry horse after. All the £ saved we'll put towards the country's gas & 'leccy bill this month". ??3 points
