Of course im not against eating foreign food ? some of its quite nice......but im against giving foreigners money unnecessarily so thats where you have to weigh things up and personally i dont like foreign food enough to sacrifice one for the other....but hey thats just me i dont tell people what to do. Post came this morning two parsels one off philpot and the other was my pard 019 spotter so unwraped them nice little ir lamp that will not put much wait on the rifle and the pard 019 with lenzes switched it on and got to say first impressions was wow mind could of done with it last night lol was scanning with the rifle last night and my arms are sore today lol. I think a spotter is a game changer and a must if ur using nv this way the rifle can stay strapped to ur back until you need to take the shot up to now im a happy lad ill be out to night to test

No, I totally understand....they were my exact thoughts before I got spaniel x lurcher. Mine live inside and I’ve owned a couple of jrt before and I had one that drove me nuts as much as I loved her and I was sceptical that the liveliness of some spaniels might be a tad too much for my temperament. I couldn’t have been more wrong, honestly such loving temperaments and very calm when in the house...very easy to train, although I only use two commands, heel and recall. To be honest they were very good books I spent a good month digesting them and 're reading certain parts. Then felt confident enough to copy what I learnt in the book and take off. It's an experience I will never forget and I'm glad I done it. My mate had a go and enjoyed it so much that he bought his own wing. He didn't bother reading the books just asked me the crack with it and took off. Another 4 of the boys had a go aswell. So they were more daring than me as they didn't read any books. This is the mountain I used to watch paragliders flying from growing

You may laugh, but I remember getting a tape with various calls on it and playing them through something not too dissimilar to the picture , off the bonnet of the Landrover . I’ve had a go with the old one and I was very impressed with it, they don’t have range finder or record sound but I don’t want to hear it die and if I can see it I can hit it, I’ve ordered this as well, not sure if it will bring me any more gingers but it looks posh

We got a tip must have been at least 10/15 year ago about a dog called minneola Farlow. That f****r westmead hawk piped it on the finish 2 years on the trot. Me and about 30 of my mate had it backed from the start at 33's. Hats off to the hawk. Some animal

Again another nice write up of your hunting exploits. That Mannlicher looks so much like my Luxus in 243. The virus outbreak has hit us all and this year most of the shoots are only offering duck shooting. We hope for better times but I fear that the virus will be here for a very long time and that general life will take a bit of a diversion until an effective vaccine has been developed. Still we do what we can and make the most of our time. I look forward to your posts.

I got bought a book, probably 20 yrs ago when I first got an allotment plot, on self sufficiency... Some brilliant ideas and helpful tips inside it..... I had to give it up due to working away, but would love to get back at it when life slows down abit.

I aimed at it and thought no, so I carried the rifle for 760yards then shot it ?
