So here something... Recently learned about these deal called crab snares basically is weighted bait cage covered in heavy mono snare loops . Real popular on the West Coast for casting out on beaches and jetties and the like . Crab tries to get the bait moves the rod tip and the snare catch int he legs when you reel in. Really effective for there crabs apparently . And I see crab swimming around a lot so figured I'd try and make one because I like trying new stuff So threw this lil guy together Well apparently a lot of people like these because it's hard to c6 points

Just tell them we are pausing issuing visas and aid until they agree to take the rapists back. In the meantime the cost of keeping the rapists in jail will come from the aid we would have sent to Pakistan. Sounds simple to me ! Cheers.6 points

“Pakistan demands….”. ”Mauritius demands…” Spain demands ….” ”France demands…” Oh for the good old days when these demands would have been met with a salvo from a gun boat ! Now they are met with another Starmer capitulation…! Cheers.6 points

I worked with a polish lad. A big jam spoon delivered his baby. So he hid outside the hospital for 2 days in a flower bed just so he could punch him. Couldn't live with the fact a black bloke had seen his wife's fanny5 points

I had a couple of hours on the farm pond with a mate . It started badly when he arrived to pick me up and realised he'd left his close- up glasses at home. He wisely wasn't keen on my offer to tie his hooks on for him so we nipped to his house to collect his specs. Fishing with with Stu always encompasses a degree of comedy . To anyone watching from a (safe) distance the phrase "Like monkeys playing the piano." might come to mind . On this occasion totally independently we had decided that as well as our proper rods we would bring along some less than suitable tackle .5 points

Raising them is by far the best part, way more exciting than having a dog on slip you know is bang on, yeah ye kill stuff but the not knowing am watching a pup grow an learn an put it all together is by far the best part of dogs, for me anyways4 points

As I was wandering the mountain early this morning I realised that today would have been lurcher day at the Welsh Game Fair in Llandeilo. This show in my opinion attracted the finest working terriers and lurchers in the UK and also some of the biggest lunatics (in a good way). Just wondered if anyone has any old pics or memories of past weekends spent at the Welsh. Unfortunately, to my regret I was rubbish at taking pics so will be great if anyone else has some. I can remember going up in 94 I think in my pals horse lorry and going over to the international terrier match in the barn next to a boozer a few miles from the main show groundon the Saturday night.Towards the end of the evening a scuffle broke out at the back of the barn and it turned out it was one of the lads I was with had chinned another lad from down our end.Next thing it was kicking off left right and centre.A barn full of terrier lads from all over the UK and Ireland all on the piss. What could possibly go wrong eh?4 points

I can't understand how folk can take the credit for another man/woman's work . Raising a pup , bonding and nurturing it to hopefully give you 7 great winters . Surely that better than just buying ready made ?3 points

That's what scares me. I want to try it , but I don't want to go blind , or shit myself to death .3 points

Used to go regularly, when we started passing our driving tests..mone time we bought and dragged a shitbox caravan down there might of been the last yr at the old place next to the river ,was 6 of us,and we had 17 terriers and bull lurchers between us...ended up in the pub,one of my mates was sniffing around a local piece....ended up necking her outsidethen her fella came out ,my mate dropped him,and the whole place kicked offand we all ended up locked up for the night-woke up in the morning, thinking where the f**k are all the dogs? Copper said 'they are all in the back of a police vanop3 points

You’re the sort of person why this country’s in the mess it’s in, everyone just wants the end product these days not prepared to put the work in and lay the foundations for further success. Raising a pup is all part of the journey no different from a pet or working dog only difference is you’re getting more enjoyment at the end of it hopefully with a working dog. All the time and effort is worth it when you get to the point of slipping and making its first catch wether that be rabbit, hare or fox dog ect ect that buzz makes all the time and effort worth it pal. it’s alright paying mo3 points

Every gamefair since seems a little disappointing after the Welsh. Full of characters- i can see Fenners there now with his hat full of badges at the terrier show and Mike Hooper (the china man lol) moaning at all the money everyone else must be making. Organised originally to raise money for nurses i think?3 points

Look at who got elected last year for the reasons for that, none other than Donald Trusk. The poles have realised their mistake quickly and re-elected a right wing president to counter so I think they understand they have dropped a bollock…… Cant see them big old square heads putting up with many 3rd world types in reality3 points

Had another pb tonight , went out for an hour or two fish quite hard walked a mile of canal , put a big lure on when I headed back nothing..., had a couple of last ditch attempts at bridge and caught a small jack, so called it , started walking back to car and thought I'd have a couple of chucks in the little reed filled swims where the tench and silver fish guys have a go.. second swim a light knock which got my attention, I let the lure drop and then started to retrieve again and bang, biggest fight I've had , had my lightest rod bent in half about six times took me in the reed beds both sid3 points
