I’m sure I’m not just being nostalgic or looking back through rose tinted glasses, but I’m sure I remember walking to school in blizzards, through 18” of snow in the 50’s and 60’s on a regular yearly basis. I can’t remember the schools being closed or yellow and red warnings. This winter we’ve had in my area two separate nights with a dusting of snow that had disappeared by the evening , but we are being bombarded with warnings and advice; don’t travel, wrap up warm, etc. Cheers.
