Thanks mate, I really appreciate that. The pics I take only go to a few mates and then on here so it's good to know the effort is worth while. If you fancy getting out you really should do it whilst you can. Maybe look into getting some gear together here and there over the winter, spread it out to take the sting out of it and you could be ready to go next spring. Definitely a great thing for mental health.. gives you a nice little reset I think and we all spend way too many hours, days and nights sat in our houses watching crap on the magic box that we will have forgotten all about by tomorro5 points

Absolutely pissing down but thought I’d take the dog out anyways sluices wide open on the canal, river frome will burst it’s banks into the fields in the next hour or two surprising how much stuff was out had a few runs on rabbits and three squirrels way out from cover ever flushed a green woodpecker hiding under a walnut tree soaked through but really enjoyed it5 points

It is what it is mate, not top trumps, would a prime Joshua have beaten dubious if George foreman wasn’t stuck in a hotel for months before he fought Ali would he have beaten him in the rumble in the jungle, you can only beat who’s in front of you on the day5 points

I have lived in the house I'm in now for about 40 years there have always been Hedgehogs in the garden and I have aways used slug pellets. I put some ferret food under the ferret hutch every night and come every night unless its pissing down or a hard frost. but I have even had small ones come in frosty weather I reckon they haven't got enough weight to hibernate. The only problem with encouraging them is the little and some times not so little shits they leave on the paths lol. A hedgehog run up beside my front steps. A run by the the steps going to the garden. Anot5 points

Though he did claim in the run up to the election that he had a fully costed plan which would mean he had seen the books he,s just blatantly breaking every pledge he made in the first month knowing the saps will still vote for him as has just been proved, the public are so dumbed down now they just don’t give a f**k how they treat the people that elected them, it’s almost comical looking at all the silly old feckers saying I’ve been a labour voter all my life but now he’s took my heating allowance no more, sadly we need 5 years of hell to finally wake the sleeping public4 points

This is how they could find hedgehogs. Get yourself a Jack Russell. Walk him in the old places that you used to walk and others now do. Try and be friendly with the other dog walkers, let him sniff where the other dogs are sniffing, then crunch and shake, he's found another bloody hedgehog in the cover. Mouth covered in blood from a dozen tiny spine pricks, other dogs and people freaking out, Jack Russell covered in fleas looking very pleased with himself.4 points

My parents watching it and they were on about hedgehogs declining ,biggest factors were pesticides/slug pellets and loss of habitat . No mention of badgers killing and eating them?3 points

I love our shepherds good with kids easy to train , let you know If someone Is around, we looked at loads of litters before getting ours , the working line ones would of been to much for what we needed so ended up with a Kc reg yard dog then had a litter off her and kept a pup back , both straight backed , I'd say go see some litters and see what will fit you best ,3 points

Thought I'd share this for lads that don't read the anglers times. Brilliant to show the younger generation that these are some things you may get caught on due to plums throwing them in. Leeds city centres like this on some stretches. Clear as tap water but items like this that let it down. Pulled a few shopping trolley's out before. Asked Mrs Stav what she wanted to eat and to my surprise she came up with something off the top of her head, a bit random but I was blown that she made a decision so it was corned beef stew with mashed potatoes and tender stem broccoli, no idea where she pulled this from, but it was nice, even if it took me about 2 hours to do also started of the next batch of bramble gin2 points
