No just enough to live on and keep them self warm in the winter. The deal was you pay in and you get a pension when you reach 65 men and 60 for women. They have moved the goalposts on that now. The old are just a nuisance now. I did have about 8 pensions some very small but I didn't draw on any I took them out and invested the money. The thing is a lot of pensions if you die the money is gone so f**k that. There is a lot of old folk out there that had low payed jobs that they could only just get by on when earning no extra to put by for old age. So they just get discarded6 points

Politicians and immigrant apologists telling us how lucky we are that we have all these foreigners working in the NHS!! Every politician should be looking at their feet and wringing their hands in absolute shame and embarrassment that they have got us in to a situation that we need people from the 3rd world to look after our most sick and vulnerable. Nobody can ever defend taking health care professionals away from developing countries. One of the most sad and disgusting situations we have ever found ourselves in and still the apologists try to spin it as something positive!6 points

The scary thing is how many ordinary people think he should be behind bars, they don’t care about him or the things he is worried about either ! In a way, it’s a shame this happened now and not just before a general election, we will see how many people remember come 5 years time ?…..not many I wager. As I always say, the government betraying us is a given, it’s the people around you who are the real traitors.5 points

Like many other subjects the internet has created simply far too much information to the point you now have strength and conditioning " experts " that have never had any better reason to become fit than to make a few bob being " experts " Nowadays you can become a strength/fitness coach without ever leaving your bedroom ffs ! Get out and in the gym and learn/observe what strength/fitness means from what we used to call " the inside out,not the outside in "3 points

Any idea what these are? Must be edible as I gave some to my neighbours a few days ago and they're still out there in their garden full of wind chimes and LED lighting listening to Adele albums. I hope it rains soon.3 points

Katch was a good bloke he was always offering days out and help to other people on here, and his input was good with the trapping ect the place is poorer without him.2 points

Whilst I like protein drinks they taste nice ...yeh easy convenient etc...let's be honest there's no need for them...and I know I'm like a stuck record....but there's no human food that comes in powder form... Just ax quick in the blender...250 g of Greek yogurt...3 raw eggs..half a pint of milk....over 50 g of protein...and cheaper per portion than any protein powder out there2 points

Having plenty of protein is good for you regardless pal, he's not going to be banging on pounds of muscle at his age lol. It's a ball ache trying to get the protein in with meats, fish & eggs. Protein shakes taste delicious and are super convenient. I make shakes with porridge oats, protein powder, peanut butter, chia seeds, frozen fruit & milk, can't beat em.2 points

Better eating whole foods but have you tried eating 0.8-1 gram of protein per lb of bodyweight? Lol2 points

Havent spoken to Terry in years he was always a bit of an oddball character, bit socially awkward etc ....im told he's even worse nowadays, conspiracy theorist/wannabe politician type Years ago a lot of local fighters all different ages did the same few runs it was seen as a gym bonding type of thing,we would all start off in one big group and after a while break off into little groups dependant on the chit chat.....you'd always see people drifting away from Terry to the point he'd be literally talking to himself....and then would come a sudden burst of speed way out in front to disguise t2 points

Yes its back to illegals, the country can only support a certain amount of people, there should be targets set which keeps everybody in good health not suffering, when a country gets over run and abused then the services dont work, it shows that by being designed for the nation of GB it worked well but since its been told to be international health service its gone tits up, you still need to see the connection between the 2, GB will coast along happily with a certain amount of people but when its over run and stuff is scarce then youll see people suffer and unrest begins,2 points

I used to love my work.....But now it's time for a completely new career path... something nice and simple, switch off from the neck up...like a delivery driver for Tesco,2/3 days a week would suit me down to the ground or cash in hand labouring for someone...no point working to be the richest man in the graveyard... getting taxed to f**k and back, time to start living and ticking off the wishlist...your a longtime dead...2 points

One of the reasons I am glad I am in my 60s and a bit more sensible with old age or I would have been there and probably would have launched bricks and what not at the coppers and that hotel. Done a few daft things when younger and a row with some keeper's once that saw me locked up all weekend in Rawmarsh nick shop then hauled before magistrates Monday morning and thankfully got bail with conditions despite the coppers opposing it made me realise that prison was not for me and I would only put my freedom at risk again to protect my family and loved ones.1 point

Don't be too eager to consider amputation of a toe...in some cases, there is no other option, and then you have to do what is best.. However,..by the looks of your dog's toes in your post, I feel that you are hopefully a long way off yet, from making that decision. Personally,.. for the future,....I would try to keep your Whippet's nails much, much shorter... Talk to a Running Dog Vet ,....there isn't much to be done with sprung toes other than loads of steady walking, and definitely no running for 6 weeks. I used to have loads of foot and wrist problems with my fast, whi1 point
