it's always nice to see your first swallows arrive in the beginning of the year, it's one of my mums most favourite birds, she would get so much joy and pleasure seeing them arrive, as they fly back on the same old nests in the open ended stables from the year before, she would watch them from turning up right through to the chicks leaving the nest all lined up on the washing line...when i see my first swallow of the year, i always say to myself "hello mum" as it brings back some lovely memories for me, love you miss you mum....7 points

The US doesn’t need military backing when it goes to war. They only need the political backing of allies, and they don’t REALLY need that either. It just makes their decision to go to war look more acceptable . Cheers.7 points

I done mine based on boris,s . I just leave mine in the garden to get sun on there backs from may time all through summer . Kernels just left open during day and lock them up on the night. Lifting lid on the kernel areas so easy to clean and they can also lay on top if they want5 points

The simple answer is that the NATO treaty is only applicable in the northern hemisphere, north of the Tropic of Cancer. The UK couldn’t invoke Article Five as it didn’t apply . Also , we didn’t need any help. The Argentinians had French Exocet missile before the war and the “fact” that France kept supplying them during the war had been debunked. America offered us the use of one of their aircraft carriers in the event of our Through Deck Cruiser, HMS Invincible, being sunk. Cheers.4 points

Sadly today flying brian the legend has died .he was an outstanding little all round dog .he had grafted in all parts of the country and excelled at the foxing game .bolting well over 100 foxes ,he would graft all day long and not bat an eyelid .then come home and chill like a family pet .I couldn't count hoe many foxes we accounted for with this little dog ., he was a very big part of my life .I retired him abs gifted him to chris in wales to mooch about with ,which he did and he also had some great do,s with him ,R.I.P FLYING BRIAN .till I see ya again .3 points

The sinking of the Belgrano was a decisive and historic event. But without the equally as decisive actions of many other elements of the task force the war couldn’t have been won. The entire Argentine navy was eliminated with that sinking but the land forces were still being supplied by hercs and the air war was still active from mainland bases. If the harriers hadn’t completely outperformed what was expected from them, if 3 para hadn’t shown the grit and professionalism they had, if 40 Cdo hadn’t yomped when their rides didn’t turn up, if the Vulcans hadn’t put a big target on the m3 points

Yeh to get in to ketosis you need to be fewer than 50 gram of carbs a day I think it is....your liver then releases ketones...they have many effects on the body...if weight loss is your goal ...then ketones are great because they burn body fat.... For me those channels are great for info....but the big thing I took from them was the comments left by the thousand of people that have done and changed there life round....there people that have dramatically changed and healed there numerous illness.... Fibre is a complete myth..mate....I go the loo now once a day ...rather than the 5 or3 points

Very strict season for him mate, 3 months I think .. he was one of the last boats using seine nets on the exe for salmon, been in our family for 70 years, his dad (my uncle) is 93 now and had the boat before, he still has a couple of ferrets and does a bit of wildfowling.. my cousin is a proper river man, grew up on it (like a few of us), long lines for gilt heads when the eel season finishes... Same here on bass mate, 2 bag limit over 42cm long and lots of nursery areas... Last season we must of had 200 bass on the boat, most undersize but quite a few over, so might be working3 points

Get what your saying mate but the Uighirs and the Coptic Christians are both being persecuted for their religion and the Buddhists havent got the best track record for embracing other religion's either. We on the other hand are inviting Islam and its beliefs in this country whilst openly being told of the long term intentions.3 points

it’s anothe illusion makes it look like all the country’s have deciding to go plunder and pillage together when in reality america do what they want when they want all the allies are just doing what they are told the usa is the tyrant3 points

I've said on here before my cousin traps eels in the exe, then has them smoked in an old smoke house in Newton Abbot area, they are in a lot of fancy restaurants down here and a few in London, got to say they are lovely... Conger is a bit shit imo, edible but not worth keeping...3 points

You honestly dont need all the carbs that were conditioned to think we need mate.I use to eat loads as I thought I needed them with how active I am but Ive cut them right down and feel great for it.My general work day goes.100g of natural 100%peanut butter with blueberries and a banana late morning.4 or 5 boiled eggs with mixed salad and advacado early afternoon with olive oil and sea salt,No salad dressings as theyre all full of sugar. Then a nice steak or pork chops, jerk chicken if Im lucky and loads of mixed veg no later than 6pm I might have a small ammount of sweet potato with my dinner.Br3 points

The game is too far gone now for hope of realigning the law. the recent Scottish bill will inevitably creep south of the border . The job isn’t just f****d , it’s now on only fans making a good living . hindsight is a difficult beast to feed , but in reality, we should have torn London apart at those marches. Thats the truth a million pounds led us to this . Labour never gave a f**k about the rural vote then , and considerably less now. one final thing , I say this very sad hearted . Things reach a natural cycle, of all my friends into the dogs , only two of their3 points

Idk if the term trash fish is a thing over there but it's commonly used to talk about fish people deem inedible, a nuisance, not worth catching ect. Stuff like carp, bullheads ,sheep's head ,drum, gar and so on. Lotta folks fee the same about animals like squirrel, muskrat, nutria, possum ,coon ... You get the picture. But got a long heritage of taking trash and making it good eating , though now super fancy looking, so anytime I hear someone say some critter isn't edible I need to try it myself.... Half the time its somone who has no clue how to really work with anything past chicken or2 points

Its because youre not getting the insuline spikes from the carbs.Eat carbs or sugary food or drinks and you get a big insuline spike then when it drops off you feel hungry and weak and think you need more sugar or carbs and just a merry go round.Like you mentioned I have 1 crap a day and my stomoch/bowel feels empty afterwards.I sleep better and wake up fresher every day and my joints ache a lot less than they did and I haven't lost much weight, just a bit of fat from where I didnt really want it anyway.I also think only eating in a 6 to 8 hour window has had real benefits for me too.2 points

i did some work for a retired nurse some time back, and just in conversation, diabetes came up which she said her father had, had it, well, she maintains that his high level count went down considerably when she put him on apple cider vinegar and honey daily, she swears by it...(my wife takes it daily for arthritis with great effects)...the best apple cider vinegar is the one called mother, it has all the bits in it that float around when you shake it....but you can buy it in capsule form.... also my uncle had diabetes, which he did get his levels down with a controlled diet....i don't k2 points

This local butcher now has 3 high street shops in areas that lost, and were without butchers for years. They sell out regularly. I mentioned on here years ago that I'd always wanted to be a butcher and had a dream of one day opening a shop. This is what I had in mind, really well marketed meat, packaged for the hipster wanker2 points
