I read this just now and thought it was worth sharing, I didn’t write it and it’s a bit long but it made me feel pretty positive so, I hope some of you enjoy. “Hi folks, With picking and preserving now going on at a furious pace I thought I would share a piece I wrote a few years ago for our, now closed, B&B website. I wrote it after a guest 'accidentally' ? wandered into our kitchen garden,...having open two gates marked 'STRICTLY PRIVATE' ? He stood with his soft hands in his pockets, watching me pick peas (as I will today) and as if having a conversation with hims14 points

Just for the record mate, what I’m definitely not doing it sitting around in a constant extreme state of anger about it all......I have opinions I’m comfortable with but others may find extreme. Im definitely not going to change the world I know that, I’m not foolish enough not to know that for others it simply don’t matter enough and that’s fine, their choice and in turn I can make my choice about if I want to live in a place like that. Most of my close pals have all departed to Germany, Canada, Australia, New Zealand......they didn’t want to live in that social model and so they we6 points

working Deerhounds for many years, ive seen and worked a lot of them the variety is huge, and down to the breeding lines, typically bitches are more versatile due to size and do a bit of everything, in saying that not too much got away from this large male, the introduction of some greyhound Blood and sticking strictly to working lines is the only way to get the old deerhound back,6 points

" Ignorance ", in this context, doesn't come into it. It's a simple fact that these filthy sand niggers are hell bent determined to destroy anything and anyone that doesn't see eye to eye with their twisted, perverted, medieval take on shit. Start from that premise and not much else about the filth will surprise you.5 points

I suppose I'm just right of central.. lads like Wilf have seen far more on their doorstep than I have so my feelings aren't as strong obviously. But I'm not blind, I've travelled and worked enough around these places to know it is turning into a shit show. The embarrasing white apologists are worse than the blacks in my eyes... I'd say most of us on here have similar views, yet it always seems like we have to pick holes in each others comments, posts etc as a type of point scoring, I gaurantee stood around in a pub the majority of us would have a yap and generally agree with each ot4 points

Let’s not get carried away with all this “you wouldn’t not let a black man fix your car “ nonsense it’s got nothing to do with it. Unless you live speak bang in the middle and become a minority you won’t understand it. take a little look at life where you are and how it compares . do you have school kids getting threatened in the bus by county lines dealers ? are kids getting stabbed by scooter gangs over footballs ? could you and your misses walk home after a night out ? if you can say yes then Your lucky .4 points

Back in September of 2018 I bred a litter of pups from my lurcher Boots,he's basically a 5/8 Grey & 3/8 Saluki & a 5/8 Grey 3/8 Bull bitch called Roxy my son owns..last season was obviously their 1st working & to say it's been a rollercoaster of a ride with them would be an understatement, the dog pup Bear started away beautifully, taking everything in his stride no matter what I put in front of him,he's a big brute of a dog standing 28tts & weighing 43.19kg or 93lb in layman's terms, fantastic temperament on him, just a lovely dog to have around, sadly in December he broke his nec3 points

Haven't been to this farm since before lockdown as farmer is an old boy. Rang him other day for a catch up and he said come through as a few rabbits about ? Arrived about 4.30 and stalked the wood edge. A few rabbits about and managed 19 in an hour and a half including one with a white stripe down face. Going to farm for a cuppa now then will head out again for round 2 .....3 points

I got bought a book, probably 20 yrs ago when I first got an allotment plot, on self sufficiency... Some brilliant ideas and helpful tips inside it..... I had to give it up due to working away, but would love to get back at it when life slows down abit.3 points

I buy most fresh things daily. Meat from the Asian butchers (always comes with a bag of scraps, bones etc for the dog) or pork from the Catalan butchers. Veg comes from either the Catalan or south American owned greengrocers. Other bits from the local owned supermarket. If it's good quality, I'll buy it Had my Indian mate living with me last year for about 8-9 months.... home cooked Indian food, at least 3 times a week, mum's recipes type stuff.... bloody amazing. In Sept we're off to Valencia for his wedding. If his family can get over from Delhi, its gonna be a homecooked Indian ban3 points

I just shoot resting on the dash of the ATV . I can brace my elbow on my knee and it’s incredibly stable . I’ve got a bipod on my .223 With the NV . But I’m resisting the urge to put a bipod on the .243 because it gets in the way when I shoot off sticks or fence posts . I forgot to mention that this is the first fox I’ve shot with this rifle . I’ve got it with me all the time but I’ve not seen a fox in enough light before . I do most of my fox shooting with the .223 at night. I had wanted to see how my home loads killed and all I can say is it dropped on the spot and there was no exit wound3 points

I spend my evenings going around the pens checking that there are no problems and that all the fencers are working. I’ve always got a rifle with me and these days it’s my Tikka .243 loaded with Sierra Blitzkings 70grn . I’m really enjoying shooting this rifle and pop of crows and jackdaws (Meece don’t even go there ) as I practice at different ranges . This evening I finished my rounds and was sat looking up a large bank/ valley . I was loading a joke onto the general section as it happens and I looked up from my iPhone and spotted Charlie trotting from left to right at about 150 mete3 points

Been on the look out since the start of lockdown as thought its perfect time to spend starting a new one, didn't seem like there was much about at all. Finally found something bred the way I wanted and got her last Friday, cracking little thing bright as a button very pleased with her. Named her Arya.2 points

The shoot is about 1500 acres and I would say I’ve done a good job of keeping their numbers down but you know the old saying ( kill one fox and two come to the funeral) is fairly true . You just create a vacuum and nature soon fills it . You just have to keep vigilant and keep a rifle with you and put the hours in at night .There will soon be another one to take his place at the table .2 points

There are some top Indian chefs in this country mate, Benares in London was amazing food, michelin star Indian food, Sindhu is another... I'd rather not have a load of shit takeaways and go and eat somewher proper and spend a few quid on a nice night out with the Mrs, I'm pretty sure they haven't got a Michelin star by cooking with shit covered hands!! lol... Your local kebab shop on the other hand.... pay youyr money and take a chance on what ever shit they serve up!!! lol2 points
