  5. We met with @Rickshaw swamilast night, once again thank you mate for your time and generosity. We had an amazing dinner, talked for hours, hunting and fishing dominating the talk, but history, music and family as well, I think we spent about 3 hours together and it flew by, my wife loved it as well. We're going to stay another night in Alabama, maybe more, this place has reduced our speed to get across the states, its slowed us down, which has been great. Waylon is a top man, a proper hunting and fishing man who lives, possibly, in the best place to pursue those things.. the invite i

  6. I was lucky in my early teens,I used to get out with an old boy Jimmy,he taught me how to snare, how to conduct myself around an earth, while digging to different quarry,He introduced me to the landowners and later gave me all his permissions-he was still coming out with us aged 81 until he passed away- without his help I wouldn't of had half the opportunities,he opened up for me... something I will always be grateful for...I still have the old terrier couples, pegging out chains ,and T bar he made me,had em close to 30 yrs

  8. Asked the lady I buy my quail and rabbits from if she wouldn't mind me coming by and getting a few buckets worth of the poop from under the cages for our compost pile yesterday when I got out new rabbit does and she was beyond happy to let me . Said I'd be doing her a favor more then anything. She's in her 70's ,been fighting cancer last year or so ,and can't get around like she used to and her usual help has been a little spotty apparently.Well came by yesterday to get a few buckets full and ended up helping her kill and process a few of her rabbits along with some other farm chores . Told he

I’ll probably need more than 9” barrels on my shotgun and a ticket as well lol but I,ll cross all those bridges once I get me foot in the door I would imaging what ever needs shooting is all covered by appropriate tickets as it’s an on going thing to stop them getting sucked in the planes it’s all new to me mate but the only things guaranteed to fail are the ones you don’t try so let’s kick the can and see were it goes

Their is a lad on Facebook that makes bands and made up tubes who is highly recommended and is a good lad who doesn't give two feks about some of the flak he gets from antis. Dead shot steel is his name he would probably give you good advice on what you want mate.

  33. Been watching YouTube vids of people fishing for silvers and fancied a go at it so got all the hooks , beads , uv resin and uv torch off aliexpress only takes minutes to make a few . From what I’ve seen it needs pretty good conditions to cast such light weights and if it’s windy it’s not happening . I’ve got a new 0.2-1.5gm extra ultralight set up to cast it aswell because my normal 1-5gm bfs setup wouldn’t be up for much below 0.8gm . Gone for the thinnest braid I could find at 0.04 and I’m thinking of trying an ester line on another reel to see how it compares . Not managed to get out yet be

Not sure if the farmer who sold Edith to me suspiciously cheaply had a sense of humour or saw me coming. Whatever ,l am definately the owner of a comedy dog . Today's hilarity involved the surreal discovery of a perfectly formed bream in the middle of a field . The nearest water being a quarter of a mile away one can only wonder at the how it got there . Luckily it was frozen solid because she did the dog

Bangers your the greatest man to come out with ‘you don’t worry about me’ when anyone calls your crap you go on with daily but you spend your day worrying about everyone else’s business telling them where they are going wrong and what not. Hopefully mate, we've covered some miles since Florida Keys and not really had a chance... there's so much to see and do, today's drive through Alabama was a shorter distance, we had more stops, and it blew our heads again! Meeting Rickshaw for a meal tonight, really looking forward to it.. Alabama is stunning!
