I just topped up stew with some veg and veg stock chucked some more dumplings in round three lol.

Some different antibiotics and ive just put that poltice on the vet recons its different from first injury unless its tendon or ligament inflamed see in a week

My lil tomato plant seems to like it O and we're trying out one of these portable electric fences for give them a lil more ange and let them clean up the yard in a few places

My lady always says there’s two sorts of people,morning people,and those who want to murder morning people.I am a morning person.

She's too young really, I'd planned to only let her pick some nice easy dead birds this season but we keep finding ourselves short of pickers up and beaters as they take it in turns to be off ill, so the young dog has been pressed into work! She's done fantastic, picking runners and even did a full days beating last week (not what I wanted for a retriever). Hopefully give her a simple day tomorrow then spend some more time training.

Just bagging up wheat today and feeding the flying chickens, nobody at the farm today, they are all out shooting, so I stopped at the house to see how the old boy was, now he’s got dementia so I get him to come and give me “ a hand “ to keep him busy and he can tell me his stories from when he was a lad, first time today he couldn’t remember my name, it really put a lump in my throat, it’s so sad to watch him deteriorate, and I was thinking that when he’s gone all of the stories he has told me over the last 25 years will be gone as well, just very sad

Its a bit of a culmination of circumstances really…..bare with me and I’ll explain. Years ago, a person used to be able to just drive in the local tip and get rid of their waste, you may have had to slip the tip bloke a tenner but no bother, it was in the right place and and dealt with. Then you get “waste license’s”…..£300 for the basic version and paperwork for everything. Was out today in the afternoon once the frost cleared test to see how the bitch was strong hares with a mixture of good and rough ground would soon see any hidden injuries it ran 2 missed 2 bitch still ain’t right need to go get her seen too ran her heart out though considering. Been on this wee hare above for just over 3 mins watch it go up along side the wall and then stop dead behind a bush until the dog runs past it and sneaks away up the hill . Please don’t get me started on the police/gardai mother of god. I’ve had some long running hateful relationships in my life but the one with the law has never died down in all the years. I have one particular story I won’t get into involving my son when he was 14/15 he was involved in something with the son of a local garda both were caught boys being boys but my lad ended up doing 8 months in St Patrick’s and I’ll leave you guess what the gardas son got.
