The hardest thing I've ever done was watching my daughter get married this past weekend.Im still crying.I taught her to catch crawdads when she was little. She had a natural talent for bowfishing. She loves to shark fish. She had always been my digging partner with terriers until one day she brought this boy along with us who is now my son in law. Feeling gutshot from losing my digging partner, fishing partner and daughter in the blink of an eye. Any of yall men with little girls, hug em and take em fishing while you can.34 points

Simon is a great fella who i know ans he lives on my road about half mile from me,our kids went to the village school together and his kids are a credit to him and his wife. Iv'e lived in Norfolk just outside Diss as it goes for 20 odd years now and it is the county of game aplenty but it is also as boring as feck with no hills and the view is the same no matter how many fields you walk over, pluss it's eastern coast line is as dull as the chocolate sea that runs down it's side but the north coast is of clear water. I go sea fishing in Suffolk and do so much better there, it's a funny old count9 points

Just under 20 miles and the estate at Shadwell has some history about it, one story i might have said about before is a farmer in my village during the 1800's had a deer herd and a pack of hounds and would hunt the carted stag.He travelled to Hungary and bought some red deer as they were the best he could buy in Europe and brought them back and bred them with his herd, when they banned the hunting of the carted stag he let his herd go instead of culling them as the powers that be told him to do so and the red deer around Shadwell have been DNA traced to the Hungary reds and that is why the red4 points

Out today was hoping for some Ceps but no luck on that front. Seen this coming up in the Grass another I had to look up "Fairy Fingers" I did get a feed though some Horse Mushrooms and couple of handfuls of Terracotta Hedgehog Mushrooms. Terracotta Mushrooms is a good safe mushroom as the only thing similar is the bigger Hedgehog Mushroom that white. Both have no gills they have spikes that you can just brush off. These were under some Hazels on a bank. Cheers Arry4 points

Greb has just informed me he's been destroying this paragliders wife whilst he's at work, apparently he's been taking testosterone therapy but it's not doing the job, I think given his tackle Greb has done a fine job.3 points

Thats a pretty big Field mate. Found a few nice Horse Mushrooms today mate. Stotted them from the other side of the valley. Don't take many to fill the basket. This Button Horse has a nice example of the cogged wheel they go on about. Also nice smell of Aniseed. Cheers Arry.3 points

There's a slight possibility you could outrun a big fat f****r that struggles to walk or perhaps get over a fence or up a tree or something Much less chance of escaping or outrunning a fit 35lb good to go type.3 points

What a mess the sport is in so we're now being dictated to by a geezer who has never boxed in his life from a country with no boxers !.....talk about the sport selling its soul. " I dont think the result was fair "........" They are my brothers "........so they'll fight again !! What happened to world rankings, title eliminators and mandatory defences........no,if you can get the geezer in a girls nightie to like you......your in.....f****n embarrassing !!3 points

Many thanks to Leeview for the repairs to my 3 long nets and the improvements he made to them and advise given me. Great to meet a gentleman with that much passion about the sport of netting and ferreting. Not to mention an adept of the old skills of net making and repairs. Highly reccoment this gents work and I virtually had to force him to take more money for it too.2 points

Had a night at the haunted Bell inn in Thetford must be 15 years ago and I was surprised to find it full of what I assumed were Eastern euros back then. It definitely wasn't the the quaint little picturesque English town that I'd imagined or that I'm sure it would have been at some point in the past. Interesting fact, Dad's Army was filmed around Thetford and the crew and cast stayed in the Bell inn whilst filming! Fortunately Casper never an appearance!2 points

that's the way things are going now mate, I would definitely have another whippet, you can mooch and have a bit of a run when opportunities arise, scruffy little beddywhippet doesn't attract attention either, little Jill and half a dozen net's in coat, only picking up 1s and 2s but I am enjoying myself.2 points

I fancy a little border terrier for my next moocher,or maybe a whippet for some ferreting and the odd night on the lamp... My old team..2 points

trouble is most of these dinlo owners can’t look after themselves or the kids they got , got no responsibility for nothing , getting a dog like that will only end one way.1 point

it's a changing world, it was always a battle of wits really, they didn't know who or how many were behind the lamp that was shining and you didn't know who or how many were coming to you, too old now for that and even in my prime built like the gable end of a 5 pound note I will carry on mooching about like the old fart I am.1 point
