  7. Wasp nests. A small spoonful at the entrance hole . I wouldn't think that there's a fisherman around these days who uses wasp grubs. Same with blood worm. Collecting, selling and using those sorts of baits were as big a part of fishing as the actual fishing. Just like baking bread to make ground bait. Today's fishermen miss out on so much with their muddy puddles full of generic carp....they don't realise what they have lost

  8. In a world where total f***ing insanity is the new normal, why not ? May as well help yourself to some of that !…….if she said she was a man and needed to go home at lunchtime every day to shave her mangina they wouldn’t wait to be seen to bend over backwards to accommodate her so why not make up some other mental “condition” and have a lay in ?…..more power to her elbow, these companies bought into and wanted this madness so let them reap what they sow.

Never even entered my head an eagle would take a dog but if they take foxes . The family in uist have a fb page and while back they had a video of a dog having to swim in the sea to push the cattle off the beach interesting to watch .

  17. Remember finding some empty tins of it in the mouth of a rabbit warren on the Wentworth estate years ago i think the keepers used to gas them more to piss poachers off more than pest control as lads who poached that estate longnetting and lamping did more to control the rabbit population than the keeper's did gassing a few warren's.

  18. I use the thin rope mate, I’m personally not a fan of tape as it catches the wind too much and is much harder to put neatly back on a reel when you want to roll it up and move it. For you box it’s not the acre size, it’s the joules output you want to look at. So from memory, and I may be way off, but your normal battery fencing is about 1.5 or 2 joules output and my mains box is like 8 or 11 or something…..you get the drift anyway. So basically for thick lads like me, it is the equivalent to a gentle push that you don’t give a monkeys about or a real hard smack that you won’t w

Mc you have this fury thing bad the fact he's fighting someone who hasn't fought professional yet but he's his next opponent should tell you everything if he wanted Joshua or uysk he could make it happen but the fact he could lose his no loses record scares him so I doubt he will chance it fury has a chance to unify the belts the first since Lewis to do it but he won't shame his legacy will be more about ducking the fight than taking it

Just labouring for my mate today, bit of mixing, bit of drainage, put a oil pipe in for the boiler, small foundation for some steps, all while he was laying Indian sandstone I like working with him, I learn loads, he’s a proper builder, built this house on the farm, on his own, only thing he didn’t do was the electrics and the heating also found a well so made a feature of it

Wanting to be with your own kind is not racist in any way,he didn't hate white folk he just wanted to be around black folk and have his kids looking like him and there's nothing wrong in that in any way and neither is wanting it the other way round with white folk wanting to be around white folk...

Many years ago I did community service in the local dogs home and somehow a tray of vaccines followed me home I was out day and night back then digging coursing and lamping all my dogs got one lot of jabs over two weeks think each one covered two viruses, but the parvo and leptospirosis ones were the main ones for working dogs I done all my mates as well and never lost any to disease I also used to buy a sachet of sheep dip off the vet for a fiver and do everyone’s dog in that once a year kept them clear of fleas and ticks but have never given a booster to anything despite having loads in my

Come over (through the magic changing room) I will show you chipmunks as soon as you arrive,I will video and you can do it,they are as fast as lightening and would bite like rats,I used to hand catch rats as a kid, these don’t have a nice long tail to hold.I would have trapped them as a kid,but it’s nice nowadays just to watch them.

Never,I like themThey are nice little things, more colourful and less brash than squirrels, the local stores sell squirrel and gopher traps but no chipmunk traps,in general people like seeing them around, sometimes they run around your feet expecting to be fed. They are scared of squirrels and always back down.

As I went into gamekeeping when leaving school it was still around but most often seen as a rusty tin at the back of a shed. I knew enough by then to leave well alone. It was often brought out to destroy a litter of cubs but by then I was enjoying hunting, so rather than being ok with killing a whole litter for the benifit of shooting I'd rather call a mate with terriers if cubs had to go. I used phostoxoin alot, sometimes for rabbits, alot for moles. C

  43. the whole point of vaccs for dogs is that the dogs immune system recognises viruses and learns how to kill them parvo ect i have always jabbed my pups twice one jab 2 weeks apart its a bit like when we were at school and got your MMR jab you got it once you did not need a booster i have never bothered with boosters for my dogs once the dogs immune system knows how to deal with it thats it it doesnt need a booster just my opinion

I saw one filmed in Canada a few weeks ago, brutal temperatures, the first one to jack did so after 8 days,Californian guy with perfectly manicured hair and matching beard,he was crying on day 7 as he missed his family. The ones who stuck it out longest were laid-back and knew the game, not eccentrics at all,the winner was a geezer, killed a moose then when a wolverine came for his moose he killed it with an axe (you see it’s guts where he whacked it across the side),temps were down to -40’s but he was snug as a bug in a rug,the lady who I thought would win was in it for the long haul was airlifted
