Landed on our feet really with everything from pens to keepers sheds all ready to go. Plenty of maintenance needing doing as last year's keeper was well known for being bone idle. The keeper before him was spot on though so all the bones of it are there.8 points

Get a good drain connection first, I then had it rendered, topped the pens off with iron railings, insulated bedding boxes, very low maintenance, a coat of paint every spring and there as good as new7 points

Just back from a trip up North West Scotland. Mainly spent in the sea kayaks exploring various areas. Wild camping on headlands along the way. Very lucky with the weather and a great place for adventures.5 points

Yep mine watched vikings with me this morning ,with Kirk Douglas , back when films weren't all gore and swearing. One of my father's favourite actors, I'm sat in my workshop thinking of him, all the stuff you learnt and did that I wished I could thank him for. Anyway that's kids and if you're lucky yours will think the same ?4 points

I lived opposite knoll hill steam rally as a young kid , used to get free entry. Father used to make horse brasses and steam engine brasses for them , was quite impressive to watch the engines as a youngster3 points

Well. For my 60th birthday I was, amongst other things, blessed with a track day at Donnington Park. My instructor who I know very well, gave me carte Blanche for as many laps as I wanted. My family and a few friends were thre with the cameras. Little did they, or I, know what was coming. Pulled into pit lane, relieved and slightly exhausted to be met with, don’t take your leathers off we have a surprise for you. Well Ron Haslqm came in and said jump on. FFS. Ron suggested I hang on and squeeze his bum with my knees when I’dhad enough. I lasted 4 laps, mostly on the back wheel. What a rush. No3 points

I think there are a number of reasons why there is a decline. Yes, the seals play their part, but water quality, and depth are the main factors. Reclaiming of land has destroyed our waterways. When the land is reclaimed, rain runs off very quickly, causing the river to quickly rise, but fall, just as quick. With un-reclaimed land, rainfall will sit on the land, and slowly make its way into the river. The river will not rise so quickly, and then during dry spells, the land will continue to feed the river with water, and the rivers will not drop as significantly, as they do t3 points

Seen a couple and they are cracking little dogs, but I always think to whoever is going to breeding a litter why not just use a greyhound instead, will get bigger stronger more cable dogs. horses for courses I suppose and depending what they were going to be used for. The ones I’ve seen were spot on rapid of the mark and could turn well but couldn’t help thinking if was just was a few inches bigger and ten or more pounds heavier could have made things a lot easier3 points

A couple made a deal that whoever died first would come back and inform the other if there is sex after death. Their biggest fear was that there was no after-life at all. After a long life together, the husband was the first to die. True to his word, he made the first contact: " Marion .... Marion ... " "Is that you, Bob?" "Yes, I've come back like we agreed." "That's wonderful! What's it like?" "Well, I get up in the morning, I have sex. I have breakfast and then it's off to the golf course. I have sex again, bathe in the warm sun and then have sex a couple of more times.. Then I have3 points

Personal Terry I believe it's the sheer number of Seals now. There are over 30 in Brixham harbour every headland has large groups of them a mate told me there were 18 on the mud flats at Dartmouth. What chance has the Salmon got they hug the coast as they come back to spawn they run the gauntlet at every point on the coast and right up the tidal length of the river. I live about 12 miles up the river for the mouth and as a kid it was rare to see a seal. If one was spotted me and a couple of mates would row down the river as the tide dropped keeping an eye out on the banks. We usually would fi3 points
