Not heard of any incidents of a knife being used in the Town I live in. Think we are lucky down here in Devon just the odd case usually in the City's. I get the feeling some people are moving their families down here to get away from things like knife crime. Strange really I have a Leatherman or a pocket knife on me most of the time not as protection just as a tool. From an early age when I joined the Cubs and later the Scouts in the 1950's we were encouraged to carry a knife. You know one of them knifes with a marlinspike on them for taking boyscouts out of horseshoes lol. Seriously12 points

You talk some f***ing shite like . so a lad argues with someone and and pulls out a knife , the other lad is suddenly transformed into Steven seagal and disarms him before plunging him with his own weapon . If you’ve had any encounters with knife related crime , it’s not an escalation during a fight , most of the lads I know who have been stabbed were stabbed instantly at the first interaction . I wouldn’t know but I’d say if your going to go out and stab someone it’s not the type of thing that gradually escalates , it’s an act of violence that is predetermined8 points

Iv'e caught hundreds of the things over the years and the best dog i saw was mine on them, she was built like a brick shithouse but only 23/4 inches tall and had a dose of bull in her.She loved teeth as well and she loved the ruck a muntie can give back at times and iv'e seen the next best small deer dog )chinks, munties, roe) killed by a muntie putting it's antler through the dogs neck and out it's ear, that dog was coursing bred saluki type..I'd go for a heavier bodied dog than a saluki x and one with some bottle in the line as there tough little buggers and iv'e stitched up a lurcher more than4 points

Munty bucks can be tough there solid lil deer, half the battle with them is finding one out in the open long enough when they hit cover they deffo got the advantage normally they'll go from cover to cover and thick stuff too, riddled with munty where I am hear them more than you see them but if you got a dog that works cover well you'll see plenty4 points

I’d say the stab kit don’t even get stored away in most emergency vehicles in the U.K., they just keep it in the front seat it gets used that much ? Pure guess but I bet I’m not far wrong……that’s what happens when you import millions of people from places where doing each other in is normal and you infect your own society with them !4 points

A good turn out for a local hunt show. Met up with my pals and enjoyed the craic. Rain kept off and had a great few hours. I think the lurcher judge was corrupt as the local deerhound types went home empty handed ! Just joking, I have great respect for anyone who gives up their time to judge and organise these get togethers Cheers.!4 points

Speaking from a biased point of view . I fully support the binmen ( although i reckon theyre fighting a losing battle). Speaking from experience, and trying not to sound like a screaming racist. The issue with piles of rubbish in the streets , is only in the areas that mainly house ethnic minorities . As soon as one bag appears , they'll just pile rubbish as high as they can, and then blame everyone else . You won't see the rubbish piled up in most of the whiter areas ( except the high unemployment areas), as they'll take care of things themselves , by using the tips, or cleaning and storing4 points

Me and the Wife, don't get to any shows these days,...but we used to get about a fair bit,.. and these days out, were frequently used for arranging trips out with pals, and for discussing tactics,.. etc... I've also been privileged to Judge most of the large Lurcher Shows,.. In the early days ,.dogs would often turn up in a right old state,..(and this was not always due to hard work in the field) it was often down to neglect and ignorance. I always made it abundantly clear that whilst scars and marks on a dog were 100% invisible to me,...everything else was not... Folk sometimes3 points

I don’t think it’s a load of crap Drove, I met up with friends from around the country who have genuine working dogs and we had a great day. We were out in the countryside with like minded people, the judging was just incidental, we didn’t care about it. It slightly annoys me that people denigrate lurcher shows. Just because we go to the odd show doesn’t mean we are “lesser” dog men, we are just meeting up with like minded people…at least we are not summer hunting and bragging about it on social media, and of course I’m not referring to you, as I know you are a genuine lad……. But live and l3 points

I can answer a couple of those mate. I still take my truck into the tight places , but we aren't supposed to. The reason is that if you scratch a car with nobody sitting in it , the council will have a claim for four people with whiplash , lifelong trauma , and a new car . The council will then spend thousands fighting it in court . I know , because I've been involved in a few spurious claims . One of the claims was when me and my truck were five miles away ( on tracker). Someone just took the reg number , and took a punt. They obviously didn't win , but it costs the council a fortune to3 points

I had a really interesting evening caught all these birds in the app also a common nighthawk never had one of them before and a rare according to the app common firecrest, also see a green woodpecker the place was also heaving with pheasant. I also got a video of a cub pouncing on a rabbit I had just shot and giving it a ragging, it was a nice little situation I was watching the cub through my scope with no intention of shooting it and then all of a sudden a rabbit filled the lens so I shot the rabbit and amazingly the cub just pounced on it, shame I can’t put the video up as3 points
