  7. Facts are, .ALL hybrids are different,....there is no guarantee that one type, put across another type, will be the same as all its similarly bred cousins . It is foolish to think that we will always get , what we wanna... All dogs are different, and it is for this reason that one cannot simply 'order a specific type, off the shelf'.....it just ain't as easy as that. I believe that this reasoning applies to ALL crossbreds.....there is never any guarantees.....

  8. That’s why I’d never have one, I’d always go for a greyhound x for the sake of a couple of inches in difference in height you’re going to get a much more versatile little lurcher

  12. I usually manage to blag free flights, either stand by or sub load so I usually go on some circuitous route . Last time I was down under I flew Newcastle- Dubai-Singapore- Melbourne, no bother. Coming back they bumped me off in Singapore for a fare paying passenger, so I spent six nights dossing in Changi airport as I was to mean to buy a ticket, then I got to Dubai and had to spend a night in departures at DBX but they got me on a Newcastle flight the next day , longest trip I’ve ever done , over a week from Oz to Newcastle. I remember it well as I’m watching Scotland playing in the

  18. I agree with what you say mate though I also think that it's an individuals lifestyle choice in choosing that path that takes them to what must be a wasted life of degradation and turmoil. Even though I have not got much in the way of money and materialistic items I find it a blessing I have not got an addictive personality in a way that could destroy my life and those around me and I have the utmost respect for those who have turned their life around who have kicked devastating drug or alcohol habits.

  27. I certainly think that beddywhippets have changed through the years, in the 70s and early 80s I grew up with a few first cross dogs around me. they were around 19tts and very whippety and fast, my own first crosses since have all lacked a yard, and not been as racy built, I can only put it down to the beddys of today.

  29. From what I've seen, spoken to owners, and read about bedlingtons, yep, rabbiting and alround/general purpose dogs, including taking feathered game, is how they've been described. My ex brother in law owned one which was mad on mink, as well as catching rabbits and foxes pretty regularly in cover. Superb nose on it, but was pretty dog aggressive. He also owned two bedlington lurchers, at separate times, which also had great noses. He has a whippet now, that is, in his words, far easier to live with and easier to control.

  33. I've had a special interest in hunting hounds for a number of years. I mainly use Beagles, but a couple of years ago I did include a foxhound in my pack. There is only the one breeder, of the Fox Hound breed in New Zealand and in the last 20 years I can't recall any pups offered for sale, so it's fair to say they are a rare breed. At one time I had six beagles in total but moved away from the breed when my best two remaining beagles suffered misadventures. During those days, I swore I'd never have another and if I did, I would not have more than two in total, if I ever decided to get back in

  34. fair point Stiff, but what comes home to me is this, in the premier league , our English players have lot of top players from other countries , take them out of there teams and your left with lot over rated English players that carnt deliver against other top country. there very good chance that England go out the next group against harder teams . Southgate should bring on palmer , and rest foden , leave watkins on, then you may see more drive up front of the goal. if Southgate doesn't change his team around we loose , and southgate will either leave or he get the sack.

  41. I sat down on a pavement the other week and had a chat with a really nice homeless bloke from hull,he was sitting on his bag smoking stardog and even offered me a puff on his spliff, been on the streets for 20 years, his only complaint was the price of weed nowadays.People walked past oblivious to him,I gave him a couple of quid and he laughed,Any one of us could take a left instead of a right at that fork in the road and end up somewhere we don’t want to be,I would like to think I never judge these people by the cover of their book of life.

  43. Dont try to look for all the negatives....Labour will have us obeying sharia law and thats not a joke. Just vote Reform and look whats happening on 27th July in London. Dont go to the bbc for news, we are being lied to and news is heavily censored. Our country is at a crossroads this year. If it wasnt for Elon Musk we would also be heavily censored on Twitter or X as its now known aswell. For once one of the powerfully rich is on our side. We need to show wev had enough of this lefty trans supporting terrorists crap, and like France we would like our country back.
