Started off Friday checked the first earth , very well ran however a promising young dog with 7/8 digs under his belt said no, tried a more experienced bitch. She also said no so that was good enough for us he wasn’t in it but not far away. Went across the road checked another one on the same farm he wasn’t in it but down the ditch we checked an earth I never got game out of before and sure enough it was holding. Lovely digging at 1.0m out the flat of the field . 1 accounted for. Up the road
