Good read lads... good input in the main. She's 10 now, whins Rex (SalxGrey/Whip) to Haymins bith Mist (Bull x).. She's done a bit of everything other than around holes over the years, pretty much done what it says on the tin.. no world beater but a good honest dog who's been a pleasure to own..15 points

I’m not really wanting to get into this, and I’m sure Gunter doesn’t need anyone to stick up for him, but a pal of mine went over last year to hunt with the same lads I’m going to see and they fixed him up with a day out with Gunter and he said to me it was one of the the best days he’s had ! The lads I’m seeing have also recommended I have a day with Gunter and his hounds and terriers, and it’s arranged, and I’m looking forward to it. More “walking the walk” than “talking the talk” ! LOL ! Lets hope all the daft talk dies off when the season starts ! Cheers.6 points

Absolutely, and your'e certainly not the only one who feels Hagler deserved the nod plenty of people have said the same over the years.....i just think Hagler started too slow and showed Leonard too much respect he gave the first 4 rounds away before he even got started......i was a big Hagler fan i wanted him to win he just had that air of menace and complete dedication that impressed me at the time but for me Leonard outwitted him every way around.....as you'll remember they could of fought years previous but Leonard saw how much he'd slowed in the Mugabe fight and knew he was ripe for the pi6 points

Never really had a proper job type job the ol man made me take a trade as a youngster so i started as a chippy as a teenager but got thoroughly bored and was too ambitious and impatient for normal work....being a bit of a lunatic and up for anything i became a bit of a Terry McCann type as a younger man looking after the local Mr Big,getting into plenty of mischief and not being a follower took some chances of my own that eventually led to owning some businesses that with good people around have gone from strength to strength......nothing but respect for the hard working types i just knew it w5 points

How many have you had? Which were the worst and which the best? I've had dozens. Millworker, pipe layer, labourer, support teacher in a behaviour unit, forester, steel erector, Ford worker, kitchen hand, bin man, fisherman, part _time farm worker, voluntary kennel man, owned businesses, and many, many more. There were no cvs in the old days, you went for a vacancy and you were accepted if the job was still vacant. The ones I really enjoyed were outside jobs , pipelaying ,working in the woods and fisherman ...when the weather was good. I don't know whether it's just looking at the pas4 points

Well Robbo isn't coming, he's got family down again so that's one serious contender out of the way. Thought Bob might be there by now but he's in Crete ATM. I'll be bringing bin liners, kitchen rolls, BBQ cleaning spray, scourers etc etc plus copious amounts of alcohol. Looking forward to having a good catch up with everyone. Cheers, D.4 points

Not called Frank by any chance? Lol The first job I ever had was in the 6 weeks holidays helping out an obese lazy sod on a milk round. Getting up at 3am was a shock to the system but it was good money for a 13 year old. I'll always remember the fat mess calling to a cafe and buying himself a bacon & egg sarnie and not even offering me one. He was sat there like a pig in shit with the yolk dropping down his chin and all I was thinking was "choke ya fat c**t!" I then had a paper round for a few years and it was the biggest round in the newsagents so was payed handsomely for it. Af4 points

Mad how quick it goes mate.. yeah Jim done a great job on that litter, 13 pups and they were all in top nick.. cost me a holiday in west coast Scotland before the trip over to Arbroath, the kids didn't know we were getting a pup, they were going mad when the pups came running out lol Jim's a top lad, we stayed the day with him, he made us scones with cream and jam because we were up from Devon, had dinner with them, then done an overnight drive from Arbroath to Exeter...luckily the pup was worth the trip..lol3 points

Left school on off from about 11 yr old , labouring, hod carrier a bit later , then went on the yts scheme bricklaying, picked it up early and was on the huge sums of £67.50 aday at 17 / 18 yrs old same as the older trowels. Bought a house at 18, worked 7 days a week, done banger racing so sold parts to people off the cars we stripped out. Went to Asia at 22 yrs old and worked on sites, had a company out thier got into a bit of naughtiness, over charging, charging day rate for 25 men ( only had 5) charged for night shift too when did nt really work it, and on top of that we was on price work f3 points

Apologies if i took it wrong chief i just thought it was a silly thing to say in such a discussion i mean its not like the NF are in with a shout is it .....with up to 4 years until the next general election and the weight of patriotism in the country at the moment i think the momentum is there for a new party to get things moving quite quickly.....the only parties i would align to at the moment are the two new ones either Restore or Advance and i can see a lot of Reforms lot moving over as well.......its not like a football club is it where you have loyalty to one or the other i dont think th3 points

Who said anything about doing nazi salutes or battering people because of their skin colour ?....what a ridiculous thing to say sounds like you're under the Starmer Spell ! From day 1 nationalists have said this country will end up in a basic battle of right against left....where a person sits in that structure is irrelevant all that matters is what side they sit.....folk like me have said for years eventually we are all going to have to choose a side, which i think is becoming more obvious than ever......now if you think that a party ( Reform ) with a leader ( Farage ) that is anti mass3 points

I was at the check out in Tesco's where I was behind a single mother of 4 kids in the queue, her bill came to £43.45 but when she counted out all her change she only had £40, feeling a bit sorry for her I insisted on helping and in no time at all we had all her shopping back on the shelves!3 points

It’s just different mate, like it’s different hunting the big arable fields in the southern end of England or parts of Scotland to Fell hunting in the lakes. So, where I live you won’t be having any 100 rabbit nights like Tomo used to have in Yorkshire or you won’t go to places like I used to in North Essex and see 3 or 4 herds of 40 or 50 wild Fallow just grazing away, you won’t see 50 hares in the same field like a place we used to go on the Suffolk border. This time of year when they had done the cut where used to live you see 12 or 15 foxes on the cut field that night and that w3 points

I was waiting for that because I guessed you were a clown and now you just confirmed it. This is the last response you will get from me because you have been trying to set fire to a decent chat amongst lads who ain’t trying to prove anything, just having a friendly chin wag and I won’t enable you. My last word is this, your reply there tells me you have seen precisely f**k all….its such a nonsensical thing to say it’s just not true…..you sound about 15 ! I can give you the flip side of that old chap….. Here there are no keepered estates, everything is local little gun clubs made up of oiks like us…….its a f***ing wildlife wasteland compared to Scotland and England, and I mean a wasteland ! All these clowns in gun clubs cutting about like Elmer Fudd sending WhatsApp messages all over the show if they see one skinny pheasant like they have spotted the white heart ! It’s vermin, vermin and more vermin and because historically it’s all tiny little 4 acre fields because Everyman got his share back in the day when the independenc3 points

Best motor we used was a Vauxhall brava pickup; ifor Williams back that was too short so there was room to stand on the back, floor across the wheel arches to put game, back split into 3 boxes with a ply front and doors, lamp connector straight to motor battery so could lamp off the back without using a battery. Stand on the back and lamp over the hedges; easy enough to duck down out of sight and could drive onto fields aswell.2 points

No mate, I’ve killed pariah desert dogs with Salukis, but the desert dog is a worthless cur, only brave in a pack. Dan Edwards who was on here and lives in Illinois is the man for coyote dogs. Cheers.2 points
