Best I've personally seen for a bit of everything.Regularly did double figures lamping rabbits.Had caught 3 foxes several times and done a 4 always single handed and on foot.caught the odd hare in sensible fields and weren't a slouch on a deer either.Was superb out with terriers marking earth's and never had to be tied back and could be kenneled with anything and trusted 100% round all livestock.Back when I had the time to spend hrs everyday out in the field and travelling all over the country with my dogs.

Two of my first cross deer/greys; They have the same deerhound blood, but the first bitch was out of a coursing bred Irish greyhound sired by Mafi Magic, the Irish coursing champion. The second bitch is out of a racing greyhound, sister to Westmead Hawk. They were around the same weight, 75lb, and the coursing bred is 28 1/2” and the racing bred about 29 1/2”. The coursing bred, to my eye, is slightly shorter in the back but definitely has more “bone”. They both have the same running style and speed. Cheers.
