  3. It breaks my heart to see hunting with dogs to be labled unhealthy, sick, bloodthirsty, a crime in the making, when not that long ago it was viewed very differently. The act of keeping hunting dogs was a way of life, not only did the result of a hunt feed families in very tough time's, it was a shared passion. Country folk came together at fairs and local working dog shows, it was the very reason, all sat side time to go, to catch up with others in the sport. Hunting with dogs was in their DNA, it fed the working man's soul, it was an important part of country life, woven into the very fabric

  11. Ten Hag has had a rough deal imo.. injuries that for ant team is crippling, blooding young players that are definitely the future but need a little time .. I'm.maybe in the minority but I hope he stays, the players played for him today, fought every ball, the youngsters shined again, Martinez showed how much he's been missed, no Casimero made us more mobile (Ambarat was great)... Mainoo is a proper talent... I wanted to stick with Ole but that became impossible, keep changing manager is a poor show, his only possibly bad deal is Anthony, he's landed with a clear out.... stick I say... Oh

  20. Interestingly some time ago on a thread about swallows I mentioned a situation I have observed living on the water that sparrow hawks become adapt at catching swallows and in the week the swallows and martins arrived I noticed an increase in sparrow hawk activity and my daughter caught two on her app have seen one in flight carrying a swallow already the first time I saw it was fishing and assumed it was a flood but since moving onto water it is clear that is is a skill that they learn and quite a regular occurrence as I have now witnessed it every spring

  21. All the evidence seems to suggest cannabis is a safer drug than tobacco. It will surely be made legal here soon. If it was legalised, standards on strength and impurities could be clearly seen on packaging. Lol. When I was a teenager over 50 years back, my mate bought some cannabis off a street dealer. It was a quick transaction up a back alley. Turned out it was Oxo cube.

  24. I had a really interesting evening caught all these birds in the app also a common nighthawk never had one of them before and a rare according to the app common firecrest, also see a green woodpecker the place was also heaving with pheasant. I also got a video of a cub pouncing on a rabbit I had just shot and giving it a ragging, it was a nice little situation I was watching the cub through my scope with no intention of shooting it and then all of a sudden a rabbit filled the lens so I shot the rabbit and amazingly the cub just pounced on it, shame I can’t put the video up as

  25. No, I get exactly the same. Sometimes I've played back ones I've failed to delete and I can hear myself in the background saying, 'and a pheasant...come on...can't you hear the pheasant?' I'm a lot less polite to Alexa! I always thought seeing a gold or firecrest was a red letter day, but I now know I'm hearing both species every day.

  31. According to the WHO, smoking kills half of smokers who don't quit and 8 million people per year, of which 1.3 million die from passive smoking. Yet it is legal. If governments want to continue to collect tax receipts and take back handers from the tobacco industry, then why not do it for cannabis and heroin? Both of which are less dangerous than tobacco. Seems strange to me that drug dealers are considered the lowest of the low, yet the murderous tobacco barons are considered legit. The only difference as far as I can see is that the tobacco barons wear suits and sit in boardrooms. Th

  32. It’s a strange one we have enough laws and regulations grinding us down now. But sure we have all known some one caught by the big C caused by smoking. I would be pretty sure when they got the news if they could have turned back time and never smoked and had longer life with there families they would have jumped at the chance. So if the choice had been taken out of there hands you think that would be good thing for all concerned. But again it’s freedom of choice. But as a life saver you would have to think it would be a good measure. Unlike that bellend and his 20mph shite

  36. Feral pigeons have boomed around me on the estate I live due to the popularity of people having solar panels fitted and need thinning out when years ago feral pigeons were only to be found in the town and old industrial buildings bar the odd racing pigeons that had lost their way.
