The point I’m making to the naughty boy in class is it don’t matter and you can’t generalise. Slating others dogs or breed types isn’t the way but I’m used to his take on whippets. It bothers me not as he knows more than anyone. Bitch I bred yrs ago was run with deer x matey wouldn’t have kept her if she didn’t do her job regular over the yrs savage little bitch like her dam n sire I6 points

Delta and Bruce the rescue dog in the lamping competition; Bruce beat Delta 19-17 and went on to win the competition. Cheers.5 points

Back on topic, lamping. The old deer cross at about ten years old; Even mC’s dogs wouldn’t catch the fabled six legged Northumbrian hare ! Cheers.5 points

The smaller chaps provide some brilliant running to watch into Jan and Feb they finish the season off a treat, a nice change for the dogs from the fallow bucks.5 points

Variety is exactly that. Imagine if every dog was a saluki the roads would be full of folk driving around looking for ther dogs it be chaos , think you suffering from the Middle Eastern religious bug it’s wat happens it’s ther way or no way. If you dare own a dog other than a saluki the prophet mohamed Mac hull won’t be happy ! If your dog takes variety good luck don’t mean they all do be plenty 28kg x dogs that chuck the towel in it’s a fact be happy with ya dogs but don’t get upset if another type x a grey or even a little ol whippet can do wat plenty of your types can’t do esp coming B5 points

They seem committed to the cause ,fair play don't see much passion or standing up to authority, and their doing it with no looting ,burning peoples businesses down ,all effective, and civilised4 points

I never said anything like that! You said a saluki would add speed to a non-ped whippet. Utter nonsense. Greyhound and whippet is added to saluki to give speed in the hope of achieving the former’s speed and the latters staying power. You know that, I’m sure. Cheers.4 points

A good Monday to you all. I just joined your forum not much more than 30 minutes ago & thought I should contribute a few pictures from California. We've a few more accepted game species / pests over here that are airgun rated. So without further adieu, some of them taken by myself over the past year, all with break barrel springers - Rabbit, ground squirrel, Rattlesnake( a venomous hazard). Also some quail & collared doves , but misplaced pictures.3 points

I’m getting old Joe and the challenge just isn’t there anymore. As far as young mC is concerned , he couldn’t hold a candle to the likes of Mark and Whin when it comes to wind ups, but he is a trier ! LOL ! Cheers.3 points

15-20 years ago on here I would have been at this ,(pardon the pun) like a dog with a bone, but these days , age and experience has taught me when it’s time to bow out gracefully ! Cheers.3 points

I watched the ones I ran in their country of origin and the ones I’ve seen run here. I’d better go to the whippet racing and tell the people who run dogs that have been bred for 150 years to be the fastest canines in the world over a sprint distance that they’ve been doing it all wrong and need to cull all there whippets and get salukis ! Its a good job I’m thick skinned ‘cause they will laugh in my face ! LOL ! Just when I thought your saluki tinted glasses were slipping……. Cheers.3 points

One of the local chinkys here is that dirty they reckon even the rats wear boiler suits.3 points

Look like the result of a alcholic father daughter mating ,don't think they offer anything to the human gene pool, medical experiments,or ballistic testing might be the only useful thing they offer, instead of wasting tax payers money on incarceration3 points

It’s genuine Harley Davidson, they just outsource their accessory manufacturing, just like most companies, Barbour, Hunters Welly’s , etc. If you were to boycott ALL Chinese products you’d soon be walking around naked , cold, hungry and most likely no ‘phone ! Sadly that’s the way of the world now….. Cheers.3 points

Good topic lads used to enjoy a good few hours on lamp good to too sharpen dog up. For sure atb taffey3 points

She's just lurcher x lurcher bred matey, bit of everything in her bar bull I'd imagine, she's my Mrs dog,she does all the hard work with her, walking, feeding, obedience training, breaking to livestock, learning her to jump etc,I just take the pup now & again with my own idiot's to let her gain a bit of fieldcraft whilst out & about & hopefully to see a few odds & sods laid to rest by my useless gits.2 points
