Some can excel given the right fitness over a time and some will make even you have a different take on them even if they can’t run slop , like I said before it’s no big deal a purpose bred stoping em but it’s quite amazing when a little one dos

I have absolutely no doubt a war is coming, there are way too many similarities with history leading up to previous wars……..and don’t think that by that rather bland comment I’m blasé about it, I’m not, I’m devastated if I’m honest because I have kids etc but insanity is in charge in so many areas of our lives that I’m resigned to it all going badly wrong.

  16. This was Rose back in Feb 2022 the day she snapped two bones in her leg clean in half, she's a tough little thing not a murmur out of her & in fact continued jumping fences & gates on the way home even like that..second pic is her in August 2022 so 6 month's later. The vet who done her operation had never done one but forwarded the x-rays of her broken leg to bone specialists throughout the country for advice on how best to repair Rose's leg. She did tell me that there was no guarantee as the smaller bone that runs behind the big one was snapped about an inch from the end & was unsu

  17. You can have a bit of fun with them for sure, but to say there’s not much you can’t do with one is stretching it a bit, there’s plenty of things whippets can’t do, and that’s nothing against them I think they can be good little dogs but they’re certainly limited

  18. This is Rose just this week, doesn't seem 5 minutes ago since she was a pup in fact I still call her & Bear pups yet they will be 6 year's old on their next birthday. Even though she's had a broken leg & now has a 'bionic' leg she is my number one go to dog. Being brutally honest these day's I go more in hope than being confident, before her accident & before age started catching up with old Boots I was always confident when I went out,we rarely came home without having had a successful hunt. Times certainly have changed & when I was younger I'd not have accepted going out 'hopi

  24. There’s no real political will or appetite for targeting the channel boats, otherwise something would have been done, numbers just keep rising,no one’s deported,Sunak is talking tough as an election is on the horizon but offering no solutions, nothing will happen, boat numbers will rise in 2024 (Nostradamus type prediction, take it to the bank).

  27. The dog was called Nero,he killed a lot of hares over the year's plus other stuff too,I've seen the dog kill hares after 3 minute plus which is no mean feat for any dog,ran mostly on an airfield with runway's & big patches of gorse dotted about so they weren't easy hares..in fields he was better still, big fields but not fenland. The dog killed 3 hares of a morning many many times Chaff. He wouldn't of cut it on fenland but elsewhere I guarantee he wouldn't of disgraced himself, great little dog he was. Sadly he's long since gone but the lads who ran him regularly will have a hell of a lot o

Could only imagine what they could do if you toss them in a shop with some semi modern gear like a few lathes welder chop saws ect. Dad recently pull these two dinosaurs out the closet and asked dme to try and fix on them so

Hop to it: Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's rabbit recipes | Meat | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM It's sustainable, healthy and, above all, tasty, so it's hard to fathom why rabbit is still such an underused meat Cheers Arry

Ruby my Pom passed away back in August of 2021 at the age of 15 mate, best dog I've ever owned honestly..she was my shadow, companion & best friend for every day of those 15 year's,I still miss her every single day. I've had some smashing dog's over the year's but Ruby was just something else..the day I had to have her pts I wrapped her up in my padded shirt & drove to some of our hunting haunts,I drove some 45 miles to where we park up to go hunting the big beasts on the mountains & where she had accompanied me up there in excess of 100 times,as soon as I drove into the carpark she

Lil story from the other day Just finished up some stuff on one of my projects, decided bubba ( term we use for people who will take a really nice gun and just do really stupid shit to it , usually with he help of a hack saw ,Dremel and some duct tape ) too had already took it 80% there might as well finish it up with a half decent rattle can paint job. So yeah touched up up a little and honestly though it looked pretty decent , better then what I was when Dad first draged it out the closet to show me. Its m1917 in 30-06 that had a butcher of a sporterizeing job done to it, just plain su

  37. That was always part of it Chaff,no one expects a Pomeranian to be out hunting, she was a great finder of stuff & on more than one occasion led me over a mile in forestry to where quarry had fallen, she had a great nose on her. Many many year's ago now I gave up on all the camouflage/hunting clothing,I wear hiking gear, back pack, walking poles & take the dogs with hi-visibilty jackets on etc..times move on Chaff & what we once could get away with we no longer can matey.
