Today I thought sod it, I’m having a 4 day weekend, now a 70 year old woman wanted her patio cleaning, was quoted £60, doesn’t have £60 but has a son and a neighbour capable of doing it for her, neither volunteered, so this morning I put the jet wash in the van, bought a gallon of the cheapest patio cleaner I could find and turned up and within an hour had it looking like new home, had a shower and popped to the shop, on the way I seen 2 young lasses on the other side of the road with a flat tyre, one had the spare out, the other was holding the jack looking very confused, now a good 40 c8 points

That fcuking ape has more harm done to terrier work in the north in the last five years than other men have in 50 . How anyone would swallow his shite and send a dog to him is beyond me. And I couldn’t give a fcuk if your on here hopefully you see this , your fcuking the game for everyone. Post the proof the dog was pts and there be no problem. And quit boasting about the shitee you do on Facebook for the whole world to see ya muppet.7 points

That post of him hugging him is old one from few yeqrs ago when schofield came out as gay . My point was that if eamon holmes knew all along about schofield and the boy and the fact he came out to get sympathy rather than be outed for what he had done . He shouldnt have sided with schofield when he came out if he knew what was happening behind the scenes7 points

I know 3 people who's word I trust 100% who have told me they have seen a big cat in the UK countryside, I was with 2 of them when they saw 1 i n Mid Wales a very long time ago while out badger digging, the other guy is a very commited bird watcher who saw 1 also a long time ago, thats where my interest in the subject ends, all these endless threads full of pointless bickering bore me shitless tbh, I only put the Claire Balding reference up for the black pussy joke6 points

I get that 100% mate but I,m also aware of first impressions and to most people the first thing they think when they see me is p***y, I,ve had people lock there car doors when I,ve stopped to help them and also lots if people try to pay you as they seem to think it’s your motive for helping but I still always do it also pick up a few hikers on my travels as well, I,m quite a believer in karma and as arry says goes round comes round ?5 points

I'm not against airgunners but once the warm weather comes there out in Force all over the country on the rabbits I'd of thought they'd be more on with rats greys pigeons n crows etc, problem is alot of people don't let rabbits build up over time n once they start seeing a few there on them they can't recover well enough..4 points

Went swimming last night with the kids in a local pool , hardly anyone in , was lovely to be in the water trolling around with the kids , looking for SpongeBob , see how long you can hold your breath for , down the chutes , nonsense and chilled . came home to read the tragic posts on the Facebook accounts in our home town that a 15 year old lad had went into the river and was missing . we’ve followed the story all day and read the devastating news that he’d sadly been found passed. there’s no blame with things like that , how can they be ? But I started this thread with the t4 points

Gotta say phone cameras are crazy nice now days ! Like I have around 500 worth of regular cameras I don't use because the one son my $500 android smart phones are just plain better. My buddy who's a bit of a photographer tagged along with me last night on a walk . Another freind just planted like 100 acres of soy beans and the hogs have been coming out of the wood work trying to make a mess of things . Anyhow he doesn't hunt but wanted to come any way to at least experience it. Well end up taking these pictures with his point and dang Mean while this is what we where seeing with our4 points

Cattle are brought in in winter because of the damage to the ground they cause mate .If they roamed free it would be different but concentrated together they ‘poach ‘the ground .Also makes for easier feed control when the grass is less nutritional .4 points

Imagine 40years ago if some one told you in the future you would have a mobile phone that could recognise bird song and tell you what the bird was. I know i would have been one of them saying don't be so bloody daft .4 points

The whole family are on it and I,m in a bit more of a rural setting than many but we are clocking up some good stuff captured a bullfinch and reed warbler yesterday had a stonechat few days back plus the cuckoo, quite funny but several of my immediate neighbours are quite serious hells angels and I have got quite a few of them on it, pretty amusing when I bump into them all excited about there latest bird they recorded they had a kestrel yesterday ?4 points

Coming back from Paignton the other day about two mile from town a guy was pushing an electric mountain bike with a flat tyre. So stoped asked if he wanted to chuck in the back and a lift to town, he said yes. Told me he had a pump and spare tube but wrong adapter. So put the seats down bike in the back took him to other side of town bit out of my way but I wasn't I a hurry. What goes round comes round imo. Cheers Arry4 points

As I said 3 people I trust 100% told me theyve seen a big cat in the countryside, the bird watcher just mentioned it as a sort of matter of fact type thing, the time in Mid Wales we were on a massive sette, I was on the opposite side of the sette to the other 2 lads, theres not a doubt in my mind there have been genuine big cat sightings in the uk but I'd say 99.9 of them are bollocks, escapees, let loose due to legislation, I dont know, as for what others might want to call me, I dont really give a fck...lol3 points

Now this is a strange one to be fair. Went this morning to my local brewery delivering some gammon steaks and eggs. Reason being the head guy loves to make breakfast each day. Anyhow. I’m having a pint,9.30 am ffs, and the conversation goes to his brother who wants to purchase 2 hiighland cow heifers. Now how the heck did this happen. I know a guy who just happens to have some highland cattle. Long story short, my pal has 5 beasts going to Melton market in the morning, including 2 heifers. I guess that was a done deal. How do these things come together?jok.3 points

My old mate was cycling home from Reading to Pangbourne, probably 25 years ago now, pissed as a fart - he hit a badger and came off his bike. ......... all of his scrapes and bruises were from him trying to scoot away from it when it ran at him before he could get back up3 points

Much as i agree i do think part of it is down to a lack of trust i sent a couple of young lads i know to help an old boy out the other week and he threatened to phone the police ?...it took them 10 minutes to make him understand the whole mutual friend thing....similarly i stopped to help a young lady with car trouble not that long ago she politely told me to go away in a " you could be anyone " kind of way.....theres just no trust in communities anymore sadly.3 points

Witnessed the very same within my closesr family... spent strange times walking all hours of the night/morning just to "get out of the house"... to see proper anxiety/depression etc first hand and realise the impact on all of those around it is completely different to the "look at me and my mental health" brigade...which in my opinion are detracting from a very real issue for some people..this almost fashion statement of mental health is bullshit, it makes a mockery of those who really suffer...3 points

Totally agree when i was bang at it with the lurchers i would have never even contemplated this cross or a first cross collie greyhound though i always had a springer spaniel for bushing and in some situations working alongside my running dog's.3 points

this question has been asked many times on this forum , there are plenty of answers if you go back through , i think you can type it in and it will find it for you. but heres a pic of one sire springer dam bitsa lurcher unfortunatly she saw no work as she died at about 1 year old. her obediance was excelent , her dummy retrive was excelent and she was marking rabbits to ground at 6 months, but thats as far as i got3 points

TBH never seen a springer x greyhound but have seen a few springer whippets all of them were very handy easy to live with type of dog's especially the one bred out of the small type springers i owned and bred for 30years and has small type mooching dogs go i would have one over any other whippet cross. I remember over 40years ago some lads from Rotherham brought some springer x whippet pups up from a chap in Hertfordshire called John Wild who rated this cross for bushing and knocking about with bigger lurchers due to a lot of badger setts on the land they hunted.2 points

This is my saluki/cocker. He’s as quick as my friends pure greyhound and can literally go all day. Can sniff out rabbits underground and had the most ridiculous prey drive. He’d run himself to death if you didn’t stop him. Great dog but not amazing with other dogs.2 points
