  1. I love to take him out fishing or just walk in the fields and wood foraging. My lad and his wife are very protective at the moment and I can understand that he is only two years old. The input that my lad and his wife are putting in is phenomenal and the results are fantastic I'm so proud of them. Cheers Arry

  2. Went to Crown Court today for the final adoption certificate. In 2021 my lad and his wife lost their Daughter my only grandchild of 18 months after trying for a kid for nearly 10 years. Seeing my son and his wife's hurt was hard and of course the wife and I were devastated not being Grandparents. As it was an ultra rare genetic thing they decided to go down the adoption rout. Well after over a year of foster to adopted a long drawn thing. Finally the last rubber stamp so to speak I'm a Granddad to a lovely little Lad. To say I'm over the moon would be a massive understatement.

  3. Well f**k me mc. If you knew anything whatsoever about goat curry, you'd know that it was actually curry goat !!!! . I'll have to start using Google again now instead of you. You've let me down. You've let the whole of the hunting life down. But worst of all. You've let yourself down. .

  10. As it goes sadly the man that could tell us all about ACD x's running on tough and flinty ground ain't no longer with us ,but the tough flinty ground was one of the reasons he used a ACD to produce a tough footed lurcher that did handle running on tough and flinty ground. RIP Phil and we miss you and your knowledge fella..

  14. The problem is we voted “to leave the EU and all its institutions “. We didn’t, because the establishment were remainers and Brexit has never been fully implemented. Both the Tory’s and Labour didn’t want Brexit, Cameron only allowed the referendum because he thought it would fail. The political cadre and civil service and legacy media have never accepted the vote and have tried everything to reverse it, this is just their latest move, they could stop mass immigration tomorrow if they wanted to, but the Treasury sees it as improving GDP, which it does , at the expense of GDP PER CAPITA .

  17. As others have also said, I like a working whippet to be whippet size, not tall and heavy, it's not a whippet imo. Both of these are KC reg, SS descendents. Both can/did catch good sized numbers, in the worst of weathers, the only time I noticed problems with cold was if they were left stood about. I've said it a lot, whippets are very underestimated dogs.

  20. You just don’t get it ! Wnning a Racing Championship with a whippet is the pinnacle of whippet racing, and getting the dog ready, at the peak of condition for that once a year event is an achievement in itself. Then to change breeds and win events with Salukis and greyhounds means, to me, that the man knew his stuff and wanted different challenges . Completely different types and events. Cheers.

  29. You can’t conflate legal immigration with leaving the EU. Our own Government controls legal immigration , they issue visas and could just as easily refuse visas, but the won’t. It’s nothing to do with the EU since we left; we took control of our own borders but if the government doesn’t want to control them it’s not the EU’s fault. When we were in the EU , over 400 million people had the right to freedom of movement that we had no control over. That has stopped since we left, but Starmer is going to reinstate it, albeit for under 30’s, but the EU is pushing for it to be under 40’s.

You on about that pleb Whin?, got talked into taking him out lamping one night, had to almost sit on my pal Ooty (old member on here) when whin slipped his coursing bred piece of shite into a chase and his dog ran straight into my pals collie x,which did get up and catch the big rabbit it was chasing. But he never shut up or turned the lamp off and by feck were we glad when we ended the night and never have i heard so much utter bollocks fall from a mans mouth...

  32. The summit is on Monday . Starmer will sell out our fishing and give free movement of people to the EU so they allow us to let them use our armed forces and nuclear deterrent . He will also allow EU judges to over rule our judges in certain areas and agree to “dynamic alignment “ with EU laws, in other words, when the EU make a new law or change an old law we automatically follow them without having any say. He will keep doing this until we are back in the EU in all but name. Traitor…… Cheers.

  39. No, I wouldn’t say they were the same; similar but not the same. Probably all came from the hunting dogs of the Fertile Crescent, but changed and adapted to the terrain and climate of the particular environment. As they went north into Central Asia they evolved into the heavier coated Tazi, Afghan and even into the Borzoi. Into the west they evolved into the Galgo , Ibizan and some types of Poenco and other types. Theres a school of thought that the north European running/hunting dogs , the so called “Celtic hound” such as the greyhound, deerhound and the original Irish wolfh
