I was driving home yesterday when I came up to one of those half barrier level crossings.The red lights were flashing and the barriers were on their way down so I pulled up sharply. Suddenly this car full of Pakis pulled out and tried to beat the lights and barriers. They got half way across when a large fully laden goods train hit them, the car disintegrated and all the occupants were killed instantly. I sat there open mouthed and thought "Jesus, that could have easily been me" So this morning I've sent off my train drivers application form to Network Rail

Well she is officially with us now. Put on 2.1kg in first 2 weeks, finally able to go out this weekend so had her on a short walk yesterday. She still a flight risk and hesitant to come back close in so will be keeping her on long line and only letting her off on my permission where there is a couple of full enclosed fields.

Vancouver in June to visit my Son, first time for us so really looking forward to it. He's got a nice little itinerary planned which includes a weekend on the Sunshine Coast so we'll get to spend some quality time with him and his Canadian girlfriend - who now considers herself half Welsh lol. Taking the Grandkids to Bulgaria for a week at the end of August and again will enjoy every single minute of that so all in all two cracking holidays to look forward too after a really stressful couple of years.

Drive over to Louisiana for one of their trapping conventions. Been two years since the last one and was great seeing everyone again.
