Out for a walk with my whippet and bedyxwhippet today, we waik this land when ever it's just a quick hour and back home. It holds a few bunny's and pheasants and my dogs love hunting to see what they can flush, the little bitch was taking a interest in a Heage near a gateway the whippet was ten yards out in field when all of a sudden a baby munty bolted and worse still went in whippets direction, he had it in his mouth in seconds, I never cleared a fence quicker. Neil I agree a good spaniel takes some beating (I've got a cocker) but we're talking all round duties,few pics of my dogs of the past,the bottom pic is for you to show they could work fox as well, it was the white dog on the left that worked that one, the pic of the coloured dog retrieving fox had just bolted that and I shot it.when I had these dogs I had 6000 acre to go at but I was lucky if I worked a dozen foxes ayear to ground so squirrels rabbits rats I think are the best way to keep a dog busy,fit and there minds occupied.

Well I had planned a good afternoons sport on a perm I haven't visited since mid November but the van wouldn't start and her indoors needed the car so I had to wait for her to return. This meant just a couple of hours on there instead but I've not been out in a while so anything is better than nothing! Putting pics up mate, just like the old days lol. I'll not be doing a massive write up but heres a brief one. We'd been out for a wander with the .410's and had nice morning, little mixed bag few pheasants, squirrel abd a pigeon i think. We put the shotguns and terrier away and got the ferret and runners out. We did a little hedgeline and bolted a few and caught some of them. Followed that up with pub dinner. Lovely

No mate just done clubs and the odd boozer to help out worked the same club for nearly 12 year.Had it's moments. Bouncers get bad press for lashing out first. All except the last skinny fukcer were fair game ... that first fella just wanted a ruck and there was only going to be one way to end it which the bouncer did ... that last skinny fukcer would have been sorted with a shove ... but in saying that the bouncer was isolated there was chaos around him and survival mode kicks in ... when I worked the doors in London if somebody wanted a one on one ruck you had to end it quickly or you could be in deep shit ......

Few years back but did this fella ever get any of his dogs back? Bad carry on that, someone stealing another mans dogs is one thing but these stolen dogs don't vanish into thin air! They go somewhere and someone or people have them and they're just as bad as the thief in my eyes. There was a dog stolen from a friend of mine a long time ago now but we got the dog back lucky enough, best thing about it was his friend was the one had the dog taken. Too many scumbags about any wonder most men move in small circles.
