  1. Just had a quick look and George (one of the boys) was my grandma's dad.
  2. I think it's his mother in law so he's probably hoping he could ? As for the dogs no idea, perhaps setters? I think people were wondering the same last time I posted it.
  3. I know mate and it's in it's native country that's why I was asking about the ring.
  4. I've put this on before. I think it's my gt gt gt grandfather, I may be wrong about the amount of gts

    Teachers

I can't think of one teacher in high school that wasn't a horrible b*****d. My old head master died last week and people from school were saying how nice he was and such a shame he went young etc, it only got one like ?
  7. Chocolate orange is the devil ?
  8. Just had a look on the sky tv guide and I can get the channel but is it going to be in Welsh?
  9. Lads swear by beddies for bushing but they must take some grooming afterwards? Surely a wire coat would be better than the one they have, it's like Velcro for sticks and mud etc.
  10. I saw him tip a van full out at a show once
  11. I've noticed that from gutting rabbits.
  12. There's already weeds everywhere mate but I'm going to get a sprayer this week and some chem from work and blitz them all.
  13. So they don't grab it because it's the first bit they come to when running up behind them and they know there's an artery there?
  14. I've got 2 types of corn in now, shallots, turnips, parsnips, carrots, 3 types of onions, broccoli, courgettes, pumpkins and cauliflower. I've got a tray of beetroot to plant out and then I think I'm about done. The lad I'm sharing with started planting some of his stuff yesterday so it should be full in no time.
  15. What breed were they rabid?
  16. I take my pups out and about with the kids to the park etc, the pub, gamefairs and I've even had them at car boot sales just to get them used to different things. Some dogsare just wired up wrong though.
  17. Something I've been pondering about whilst bored at work, is there many failures in none hunting working dogs? It's not something you ever really hear of, labs that won't retrieve or collies that won't herd? We all know of terriers that won't go to ground or lurchers that can't catch their intended quarry you just never hear of others. Do all Newfoundlands save people from water etc?
  18. Still looks a bit edgy to me but good on you for giving him a chance.
  19. It's quite sandy compared to most of our local soil which is peat moss but at least it's nice and soft to work with.
  20. Me and the eldest brat just had an hour down there. I'l put the net on the frame in the week and grab a few more canes from work.
  21. Them giant rabbits aren't very cost efficient apparently, the meat to bone ratio isn't very good and they grow slowly for the amount they eat. Nz x Californian are meant to be the best and my mate breeds them and pures for the table. I think it's 8 weeks their ready to slaughter but after that the growth slows down and the feed goes up.
