At the end of the scheme you either buy the bike with one last payment which is still cheaper than buying one new from a shop or after your last payment they still own the bike for a set time but after that it's yours. The payments come out of your wages before tax and the bike is cheaper too.

I got a merida hybrid bike on the cycle scheme thing at work and it's a nice bike to ride but most of the time out with the dogs I take my ancient Peugeot mountain bike I cobbled a basket onto, comes in handy for a lot of things the basket.

If I ever have another dog with collie in it won't be beardie and it will be diluted linebred type rather than a straight cross. Like Phil always says if it works you'e got a goodun but it can go terribly wrong with a first cross. Mine 'was' a nightmare and now I'm living a stress free lurcherless life. -
I didn't eat a thing till about 7 tonight. The kebab I had last night was big enough to last me till then. I did feel a bit faint before digging on the allotment in the heat this afternoon though.

If there was a licence in place there'll be a way round it like getting someone who has one to sell the litter for them. Someone in my missus family has a cocker bitch he breeds cockerpoo things from all the time and the kennels who owns the poodle stud shift the whole litter for him as soon as they're old enough ?

There was a lad on there who sells birds who could get them to order that's all. He's selling hawfinches cheaper than I've seen before too.

A few things are doing ok now. I'm going to try and get a load of stuff dug into it for next year so it's less like dust. -
I chucked some celery in today, a ghost pumpkin and 2 rows of Maris piper. That's the wilderness we've still got to work over, I've sprayed it off so just gonna dig it over and get a load of muck dug in.

I planted a couple of hundred leeks my cousin gave me today and my daughter planted a load of cabbages too. There's still 2 big empty rides which I'll be covering in rabbit and horse manure and getting it worked in over the winter ready for next year and I'll be at an advantage because I'll know what was where.
