Yeh i recon your right wilf.....insanity. . Why on earth we have nuclear power when we don't know how to get rid of the waste is insane....insanity is the only word for it....surly it's better to have the smoke from a coal fired power station. . Or like I have said to folk just recently. ..every building to have solar panels. ..and you would think that with today's tech they could invent a film/paint that goes on the walls of buildings that is a solar harvester of sorts...so not just the roof harvesting solar energy. ..but the hole building

this old jill of mine is like that every day....shes at least 8 if not 9 or 10 ...hasn't come in season these last two summers.....still in with the two hobs .....sleeps like a log....you can have her in your hands for a few mins till she wakes

Just watched on breaky TV him getting knighted by the Queen. ...and I liked the fact he wouldn't tell the interviewer what they chatted about.....nice to see a bit of feel good stuff instead of the usual doom and gloom...nice little story

I will say this though....just over 20 year ago I spent a lot of time partying in Leeds. ...had a bird up there for about a year....I genuinely liked leeds as a city. Had some good days and nights up there

Not me...I never worked in the pits....and back then I lived just inside Derbyshire. ..all my mates were on strike....in fact 9 of them went down during the strike for arson. ..burnt out a load of busses that were taking miners to work....some of you may remember the old ferreting pics I used to post 10 + years ago with my late friend paddy...he was one of them...

To answer the question though....no you don't need a locator ....you can catch rabbits without them....I still sometimes go for a wander with a ferret in me pocket....no locator or spade...just ferret and dog.... But they are a godsend. ...and I do prefer to have them on the ferret

Nor have I. ... The young fella I went out ferreting with in Australia a few year back used locators Ausie whipp.....mind we didn't have a dig all day... Nice to be out ferreting in shorts and trainers..

Just shows what incredible creatures hares are.....I mean look at that place...I bet it's 40 degrees. .f**k all to eat but them spiky bushes it's hiding in.... As much as I like catching various bits of game...I was real glad that got away...I just hope the chaps left that one where he was and found another to run later...
