what a great little jolly this was....myself and my family had a cracking time ...kids running round like loonies with the other kids ...adults round the fire at night taking having the crack..good times...we really enjoyed it ....cheers fellas... and many thanks to kev going out of his way yesterday to get a young hob ferret to me....thanks again TOMO

another intresting thing is the red Indians in north America ....so them lot were pretty much stone age as well wernt they....and yet just a few miles south and the same race in central America was a great civilization ....watched a program about this stuff some time back....and we all know them lot had pyramids in central America ....but there was also one in the sothern states...florida or Alabama ...somewhere like that....intresting stuff for sure

it is interesting if you look at a globe of the earth.....and look at all the places close to the 40th parallel going down to the 20th .....old and new civilations in that small band across the world... its amazing how many great citys are next to or close to the 40th .....ok new York is modern....but going across..Lisbon ...madrid ..rome..Athens ...Ankara.. Beijing.... Tokyo

Funny you say that ...one of the best ones I seen on lamped bunnies was a pit/ grey first cross...my mate owned it..unbelievable stamina she had only 22 inch 45 lbs ish.... I remember him working away steel erecting for months...took her out when he got back 11 year old she was and she caught I think 38 up Chatsworth way in Derbyshire. ..she hadn't been out for ages...great old bitch she was

Agreed the modern day coursing grey is a big beast and long way from what is needed...in today's greyhound market you be better with a smaller framed track dog...
