Just a few days ago I stopped the car just outside my village and moved a dead hare off the road and put it under the hedge .....it just didn't seem right it laying there on a drain cover.....rotting a way and getting smashed up by motors....I would have dog fooded it...but it had been there while....seemed more dignified to lay under the hedge feeding the Hawthorne in years to come....unless a badger or fox find it...

yeh that can be the trouble with raised beds some dogs are forever pulling stuff down ...some never do..... my raised bed is now boxed in so they cant pull stuff down very easy....they would have to pull it out the entrance side wich is small....just wide enough for the dog to jump in ...

one thing I will say about reffs....... the welsh fella nigel owens is the best.....I like hearing his direction to the players on field.....its great to listen to..

i enjoyed the game.....was exciting to watch... yeh bigger lost control but re-caught it befor it hit the ground.....however I think it was held up.... yeh and that penalty try should have stood....in my opinion the French player targets the ball....looks like he slaps it out of hand... pretty shure it was the tmo reff....that advised the on field reff not to give the pen try.......(what nationality was the tmo reff)

Just give it a good hair cut....it won't kill it.....I have a European evergreen oak in our back garden...I have done that twice now in the last 17 year.....stops it getting to tall....last time I just did it with the bow saw....do it now in winter as well

I have been having the same in a walnut tree..I have a double tunnel trap set about 6 foot high where the first large branch comes off the trunk ......mine are only set on the chain so they still hang around 5 foot.....but I have had numerous losses to a fox....my other traps in that garden are to high.... -
Folk often forget that the old grey nocker box ....had a few different transformations ......think there's a mk1...2 and 3... Before they ever made the orange carrot.....I think that's why the collars all look slightly different..... I also have a few mrk 1 collars that sound different...and as arry says it can be handy for knowing which ferret is where.... But I have the same with the mrk 3 carrot ....collars for that sound different ....faster and slower beeps

Fireman....maybe you could pollard it......they reckon the major oak here in Sherwood notts....was pollarded as a young tree that's one of the reasons it's lived as long....and that's around a thousand years old

They call them little strips of woodland shelter belts down here....used to really enjoy doing them when I had the estate down the road...nice little vid

Brilliant is that....lovely trees are walnuts ....I do a huge manor house every year in the garden trapping squirrels ...I'm doing it right now they have a big walnut must be hundreds of years old....

Yep..used to do my old ruff hitch ....in fact about every 4 month cos she lived indoors.....I used to use hair clipers
