On by the hour here so sat in the van until half one before I could get a start, Middlesbrough really is a sh*t hole, it’s like working in a third world country, it even smells different to other areas, the only English person I seen today was arguing with herself walking up the middle of the road with a tit hanging out this is student accommodation, fu*k knows what they think when they turn up at Middlesbrough university and see where they will be living5 points

If one good thing comes out of this for the UK (strictly imo, many will disagree) it’s the realisation of how much our military power and readiness has been degraded. I think even Joe bloggs feels a bit of embarrassment on behalf of his country over this. I’ve been saying for years now that we are entering a new era global power struggle and investing in defence is not a luxury. We have so many weaknesses that only get exposed at times like this. Fortunately this time it’s just embarrassing, next time it could be catastrophic.5 points

Watched some brilliant background on all this Iran stuff yesterday. So, first and foremost, Israel……I seen a brilliant story from when Joe Biden visited Israel when he was a young senator and he was going round with the prime minister of Israel who was a woman who’s name I forget, anyway, she says to him “Do you want me to tell what Israel’s most secret and devastating weapon is Mr Biden” ? So Biden says “Yeah” thinking she is going to reveal Israel’s nuclear capability or something like that and she says this: “Our secret weapon is……we have nowhere else to go !” Let that sink in for5 points

Don't go there Mick why do you think they go on about Saluki bred dogs. It takes proper dedication and a cool approach to kennel a Saluki x. Because they are hard work. But once you control that stupid behaviour and bring them good. There's no stopping them4 points

I sympathise with a lot of what you say. Equally wouldn’t trust an Israeli as far as I could chuck one. The counter to all this “killing the regime is good” is that within five minutes the yanks dropped a TLAM into a school and deleted over a hundred children. Now you don’t need to be an Islamist, a Muslim or even religious to see how that can motivate a loved one to dedicate their life to revenge. As impressive as the American war machine is, their leadership are acting like chimpanzees.4 points

Every time you hear Ali Akbar just before a mass stabbing it’s funded and supported by the Islamic state mate so I’m all for wiping the place out then we have somewhere to send all the other towel heads and camel jockeys when it’s a wasteland4 points

I think there have been many successful campaigns, even against Muslim enemies that show that a war can be fought to Western standards without resorting to salted earth and genocide. But there is no magic book of military strategy. Does this feel like one of the US’ great military moments? The stated goal of the US is regime change, to one that is aligned and compliant to US interests, like much of the Arab side of the Muslim world is. They want the moderates and rebels of Iran to rise to take power after the US has hamstrung the oppressive regime that is in power. If the US have too many3 points

Again, fair but from a western perspective…..fact is, every Muslim is a brother and their first duty is always to Islam. The Family sits a very poor second to Allah, hence honour killings.3 points

Wilf, I worked for the Royal Saudi Airforce as a Specialist Instructor in their Air Defence Centre, from 1978, I saw the Iranian revolution in real time. I lived in the Middle East for 26 years, working mainly on military and civilian air bases. I speak passable Arabic, not as good as I should, but conversationable, I was there for the Iran/Iraq war, and when Egypt and Yemen were firing missiles into Saudi. I was there for both Gulf Wars. I have family and friends in the region including my daughter in law and grandson in Saudi and a cousin and his wife stuck in Cyprus3 points

I’m not quick to forget anything mate. My point is that the war should be working towards positive change. And bombing schools does not achieve that. And the way the us political leadership are acting I’m not at all surprised it happened so soon. There is a point when a strategy of striking military targets to achieve political change fails if you have too many accidents and create more enemy than you kill. This war is going as well as Iraq or Afghan at this stage. It’s the bit the yanks do well. But that school strike is one good example of how things go wonky very f***ing quickly.2 points

I think that is a very western, Christian way to look at it mate…..my point was, these people are coming anyway, school or no school and the fact is they don’t even care about the school anyway in reality. They will make a big deal about it because they know WE care and that’s quality PR, but themselves, they couldn’t care less about school kids and especially if they are girls.2 points

Just seen Lee Anderson on the telly saying it took less time to get an entire fleet to the Falklands than it’s taken starmer to get hms dragon to Cyprus and that it’s the only boat Keir starmer has stopped crossing the channel lol2 points

Is it true the states reckon they have done him in already ? In other news, hauliers here are saying they are going to strike because the government here has raised taxes on fuel so much along with other taxes that it’s unsustainable now it’s gone over €2 a litre…..said the government are profiteering c**ts basically and they won’t stand for it ! Good that someone isn’t buying the “oh, it’s not our taxes, it’s a supply problem” line !2 points

Ohh for f**k sake ! lol….. Right, take a minute with this: ”Because they are Islamic fundamentalists and the aim of Islam is to spread Islam, if you can’t convert people to Islam you kill them, Iran uses its oil money to do all that and our governments use the oil supply and world markets to create an illusion of wealth while at the same time abusing us like f**k and making us poorer in real terms and our society’s worse” Islams kills us, Iran pays for it, our governments let them ! There, that’s shouldn’t be too hard to grasp ! Don’t make me smash the glass and call2 points

That is true. So Hamas, funded by Iran and others, commits an atrocity In Palestine. Retaliation? Wipe out thousands of ordinary Palestinians. Which is tantamount to the UK razing Ireland to the ground because of IRA atrocities. It's as mad as Bush attacking Iraq because Saudi terrorists flattened the twin towers. But very often military action does not happen for the reasons stated by governments and the media. There's generally a hidden agenda involving power and oil.2 points

Back about 04 I was at a dog show.I had gotten there early. The person who was supposed to pick Tom up from airport didn't show.I was asked to hop in another man's truck and pick Tom up.While driving this man's truck I got a chew of tobacco as I always do.Not thinking it wasn't my truck and I didn't have a spit bottle.I quickly found a McDonald's cup and started spitting in it.Picked up Tom.We had a good day.Treadmill races. Hang time competition.I was driving home that night when my cell phone rang. The man who owned the truck had drank from the cup while driving Tom back to the airport. When he2 points
