The more people I speak to the more aren't going to vote, I'd originally thought I'd vote UK reform but not sure they even represent much of the area I'm in. I've had enough of Tories had plenty of time and opportunity, labour is a waste of time and starmer still in cahoots with Blair mandelson etc. I've completely lost all faith in the British political system7 points

Let's vote for the party that stops all benefits for undiagnosable illness , prevent immigrants from claiming health housing or benefits until they've worked for 5/10 years, deport all illegals immediately, clamp down on woke civil service powers, which are unelected, bring back capital punishment, utilise prisoners to the benefit of the state. Just general law and order and border control, renationalised water at a cost to shareholders never to be resold, massive investment in skills to young generation pointed towards any shortages , financial benefit to encourage marriage or family, huge in6 points

I think Farage has said he is decamping to America to help Trump, don’t blame him, waste of time staying and putting up with the 6 weeks of the same crap only for the British people to do exactly the same again.5 points

Think it might be a labour win but without enough of a majority to do anything or a coalition have never known a period were people have been more disconnected in politics then there’s the big question wether sir Nigel throws his hat into the ring as well, think civil war is our only real hope now sadly we have gone to far down the globalist path to turn round without a total reset but hey once the moneys in the bank and houses are all gone I will be totally detached from all of that, just need to get a 50cal on the front of my ship5 points

A general election is all pretty underwhelming right at this moment……we all know it’s going to be the red traitors turn at the gallows of Britain, we all know it’s going to be a land slide, we all know we will have the arse bored off us by people discussing the merits of AIDS v Cancer Labour or Tory for the next 6 weeks or whatever it is. Im normally quiet chirpy and hopeful (hard to believe I know !) at times of election thinking “Maybe this time” but given recent council election results we all know that Joe Public will just commit social, cultural and genetic suicide again……..how many5 points

Stopped in 2000 after smoking for maybe 13 year. My missus did the same. Between us then we’d have been on about 40 a day - Regal filters. If I had to go out today and buy all the fags we’d have smoked since giving up it’d cost me just shy of £300,000. When you look at it like that I can’t understand why anyone would smoke. I stopped a few years before vapes took off, and I’m really glad I did. I reckon it’s harder to get off them than the baccy.4 points

Father in law has a camp site between skipton and settle. £20 a night for you and the kids. Fire pits, bbqs etc he's proper relaxed about everything. Little shop, showers, play area etc. Our lads love it, barely come home in the summer Camping isn't my thing so I can't compare it to anything but don't think you can go wrong for twenty quid. It's called Primrose Park at tosside.4 points

This time of year I'm normally getting dozens of calls for bees. I don't kill bees unless they create a real issue or hazard and I have a list of bee keepers ready to pick up honey bees. Normally we get lots of calls for bumble bees in bird boxes and I will pick them up and re home them. Next come the tree bees and at certain times I've had 50 plus calls a day for them.... again we just educate and leave them in peace. Even though we hear stories about how bees are endangered I have actually found them to be increasing. A lot of my bee keepers are at capacity and really don't want more bees, w3 points

I can hand on heart say I’d never smoke another fag, I never used to be able to smell cigarettes but now the smell of a smoker hits me and I don’t like it at all. Im not one of those howling ex smokers who hounds smokers, I don’t mind if someone smokes near me or anything because after all, that used to be me, but the smell turns me right off.3 points

I had a really interesting evening caught all these birds in the app also a common nighthawk never had one of them before and a rare according to the app common firecrest, also see a green woodpecker the place was also heaving with pheasant. I also got a video of a cub pouncing on a rabbit I had just shot and giving it a ragging, it was a nice little situation I was watching the cub through my scope with no intention of shooting it and then all of a sudden a rabbit filled the lens so I shot the rabbit and amazingly the cub just pounced on it, shame I can’t put the video up as3 points

that is one i bent with the pliers, all that wants is cut through the 2 wires in the middle and then twisted straight, you need extra length on the wire to be able to form it, there is no wire waste forming with the jigs. Once made let them rust, rub the copper coating off the wire with a scouring pad before forming cutting wire and forming the trigger, it will then rust faster. My catch rate with putanges has improved massively. I call these Cumbrian style triggers.3 points

I reckon the letters of no confidence were piling up and he called the general election, he always said he would do that if his leadership was threatened, total shitbag unelected politician. I just hope for a hung parliament where Reform get a say on the future of this sadly declining Kingdom.3 points

Just finished it so need some new reading material for my kindle....or a cheap paperback. Non fiction, I like easy reading.... nothing to deep or I can't sleep after reading in bed! Travel, humorous, easy reading ..... anyone got any recommendations?2 points

Well finaly managed to stich on a decent ring .tried it acouple ways but couldn't get it where I liked it, so had bit of help of netrigger ( again lol) 3rd gate nets I've made switched from the the bigger heavy rings on to inch and half rings wich I'm preferring now , Finaly made a net I'm 100% happy with . Thanks again @netrigger2 points

I know what you mean mate and I know a few lads who did the same as you and feel loads better without the fags but it's still got nicotine in so imo could easily fall back onto fags if no vape is available or their battery dies. I think the disposable vape are getting banned too which is a good thing as twats are chucking them everywhere.2 points

well done, best traps going for me are Putanges, even more versatile for me with my custom triggers, i use different sized ones for different sized tubes, i want the jaws of the trap up to the tube wall, that gives you the best possible chance of the mole hitting the trigger correctly. I have them rigged up on different coloured spun poly twine for ease of identification. The shape makes them fire much better than rectangular triggers that can tip back without the trap firing. I make 4 different sizes, the pic has 3 sizes and a standard trigger on. I made jigs for forming these triggers but t2 points

Ain't that the truth. I don't think I'm too far from you DC. Grew up seeing plenty of rabbits locally, all ive ever run as a kid really, used to get out for a few with the old man and the beddy x on a school night for a few hours. Fond memories I'll be honest. As you say, everything gets hammered around here. I've just picked up a bit of permission 10 minutes up the road which is packed with them though and I do some work for the farmer behind this ground so hopefully I can get the nod on that place too. Would be ideal for a bit of ferreting to bring the pup on come next season.2 points

Them signs used to make my heart skip a beat especially with a couple of lurchers in the back. Now on my daily walks I am reduced to slipping an imaginary lurcher when I see one muttering the words get to it.2 points

Tent wise mate it might pay you to go to a Go Outdoors shop. The bigger ones will have loads of tents set up in store so you can see what you're actually buying. I would go Air beam tent now if I was after a big one again as it was divorce shit putting up my old 8 man Outwell Montana with a bloody head strong Mrs!! If you're after something smaller and cheaper a flexi poled 4/5 manner will be fine and still easy to pitch. Try to get to a shop mate and pick their brains!! Can't beat camping with the little uns mate!!2 points

When someone spots a few rabbits in the Valleys..the word spreads.. and they get wiped out by the masses...same story for the foxes...you get out in the snow...and theres 20 sets of boot marks around every earth, where they been running a terrier through them..too many dog lads in every village...you want sport for your dogs, then you travel...closest place for a few rabbits to run or bigger edibles ....is out past Monmouth way or over the bridge...been like it all my 44 yrs on this planet...if you have terriers and dig, there's plenty to go at in Wales....thats if some other cnut aint gone on2 points
