Our kid did the Marathon today in full drag to raise awareness and money for Scope (disability charity). He completed the whole thing in 4hrs 51mins… Fuucking legend raised 30k for the charity. Very proud of him

I did a flea spray this morning then fcked it for the day and went fishing, now I'm meeting our kid for a quick pint, then I'll take my lad boxing. We all define 'rich' in different ways

My lads 15 and not keen on school, he. Ones with me sometimes but I’m not pushing him into the construction, yes you can earn a bit but it also can go wrong , lots of risk doing foundations, brickwork etc. and you have no private heath care, pension money, holiday / sick pay , bonuses etc. my daughter 25 yrs old earns over 55,000 got privat hospitals locking after her, works when she wants.I’m seriously fuming with this govt, they tax you on everything effing thing you do. Funny I was yapping to my lad when n Saturday, hes 18 finishing his A levels in a few months in Biology and Chemistry plus a music production course..we got taking about university/jobs future plans etc... he's a bright lad and got his head screwed on, he said to me only one of his friendship group has gone into a trade (bricklaying), the rest are all going to Uni. His words were over half of them 20 years ago would've gone into a trade, they aren't super clever and the courses they are doing leaf to bog standard jobs and a pile of debt. I've seen terriers that looked like a hand grenade had gone off in there mouth come back to perfect in a few weeks with the right home care. Keep an eye for infection and have antibiotics at hand if needed, keep clean and flush with salty water a couple of times a day and it'll be grand and not cost a grand.

Missed this place over the winter

It seems to me that the head teacher us aiming at true equality. Not the skewed equality that creates most of the problems and tensions that we see in this country . When my kids were young , I didn't want them exposed to any religion . Religion was their choice to make , once they were old enough to understand, and choose what they felt was right. My children were raised with decent values , a sense of right and wrong . Religion played no part in it.
