  1. They do tend to have a few, I guess quite a lot are lost before maturity!
  2. Beautiful creature the fox! Got a lot of time for them!
  3. Bit rough on the Lion!

Took me by surprise! It will be an even bigger surprise if he lasts more than a year!
  5. That was always the plan, just sick of rollers apparently designed exactly for this job and paint, depositing their hairs, actually tried a sponge roller today but seems to lay to much paint! This should be a simple and quick job, but its not turning out that way!
  6. http://falconowners.myfastforum.org/viewforum.php?f=1&sid=91561e386457593180562a7456bda18b I'm sure someone here could help!
  7. Help me out, how do you calculate that 18p to reload 17 Hornet? As far as I can see the brass is around £70 x 100 (even using the brass 10 times that's still 7p each) and the bullets circa £30 x 100, so we are at 37p each before you add the powder and primer, and that's without making any allowance for the tools and equipment you need to do the job! Cheers
  8. I love my WMR and it gives me a feeling of confidence, but I have never seen it as a rabbit gun, perhaps because I have .22lr and HMR in the cabinet. The 30g WMR V-Max actually flies pretty close to the HMR 17g V-Max to around 100 yards. Heavier WMR ammunition holds its energy better and hits harder than the HMR but has a bit of an arc. I see no reason/benefit for ME using a WMR as a rabbit gun!
  9. Good luck with the application and as long as you have sensible answers why you need each you should be ok, the 7mm could be a bit of a question though! You will need to find a good place for your keys and keep it quiet!
  10. Just changed all the doors in my house, they are the panelled and woodgrain type. I am using the roller and brush method to paint but have so far tried 2 different types of roller (BOTH of which were meant to be designed for exactly this job) and they both deposit vast quantities of roller hairs all over my doors. I don't want the foam type rollers as the doors are grained, and they must also be suitable for oil based pains as I'm using Dulux Satinwood. Anyone tell me a roller I can use suitable for this job with no or MINIMAL hair loss. Cheers
  11. Some clever and skillful people on this site!
  12. I wouldn't know where to start. Admirable skill and a great result!
  13. Certainly looks good, I wonder quite how durable it is, and I get the feeling it wouldn't look quite like that the first time I tried it!
  14. Frankly, it was all caused by a slow news day (or week). I'm no fan of hers but she was unjustifiably hounded by righteous, self centred members of Parliament and the media! That isn't the way to run the country!
  15. That is even more frightening than the thought of Corbyn as PM!
  16. Pumps on guns are not new but this seems an interesting development. Long term review would be interesting!
  17. Its the piece of string question, waiting times can be days to many months, things change, even in the same region. Lots of guns out there for £500, probably best to shoulder as many as you can to see what feels best!
  18. Priceless! Oh, how times have changed, I know 1965 was a long while back but it looks ancient history!
  19. Hope you get the numbers, always been a good event from what I recall!
  20. Is this resolved yet? Was this a newly mounted scope or one that was on the rifle and you were just checking zero?
