  1. Whilst I guess some parts may be interchangeable, I doubt many of theirs will be in .22!
  2. "if its for FAC you need to put it on a slot to use with a particular rifle" Correct, but for a non FAC rifle you can post a mod anywhere you like, if an RFD is not willing to do that its their choice. Technically its a little involved, but any mod that is not proofed can be sent direct, the reality of that that you will be lucky to get any mod that is designed for a rimfire or centrefire in the post, proofed or not. Who told you this... Hi there. Can anyone tell me why suppressors cannot be posted and have to be face to face. ??? It is not correct!
  3. "Do you suffer from any relevant medical conditions" That seems like present tense to me.
  4. Thank you all for suggestions as to where I can get them, but I know several places I can get these online! My question in #8 was.... Is there anyone out there who would be kind enough to let me have a few JSB in 5.51 to try before I invested in a load. Many thanks.
  5. Been busy on the wasps for me this year, and Ficam D still rules!
  6. Most of the Pest Control products available at the DIY stores, garden centres, etc, contain exactly the same active ingredients at the same % as most professionals use, indeed some of the stuff is identical, simply sold in smaller quantities. Fact is, most domestics are frightened by the prices, don't know how to use/monitor the bait and don't use enough!
  7. That's my problem...I don't have a local anymore and the closest doesn't sell the stuff, he sells AA!
  8. Its stuck in a rut situation....... I have been using the AA Field 5.51 for the best part of 20 years and they work (the 5.52 not so well), but several have suggested I try the JSB as some think they are better!?!? I don't know anyone close who sells them, so, before I invest in a whole load mail order, a few to try would be very useful, and maybe help out the OP as well! Not to shabby for 40 yards, but maybe the JSB could improve things!
  9. Is there anyone here that would kindly let me have a few JSB Exacts 5.51 and I'll try them next to my AA Field 5.51. That will answer my question and potentially the OP as well. Cheers
  10. :hmm: Can you explain the difference to us please? Mine likes the AA Field in 5.51 but many have said I should try the JSB!
  11. The HW100 has always been a well engineered and accurate rifle, but being the tart I am, I have always found them too heavy for me!
  12. If by any chance you end up with one I'd be very pleased if you give me a shout and let me have a look. Cheers!
  13. Its amazing/awesome stuff, seen other vids like this, some other American bloke does a few firing guns to destruction.
  14. What Bore Sight have you got please? I have never found the need for one to be honest, never found it difficult to sight by eye, and whatever you use live fire will be the final stage, but for less than a tenner, it may be worth a look! Cheers
  15. ....I got that, but perhaps I could have worded my reply better! As a matter of interest do you know the actual size of the parent cartridge case, would it take a .22 or even .25?
  16. http://ouluntyostokeskus.com/en/products/sak-rimfire-silencer I don't know either, but some suggest they are no good for HMR or WMR. My experience with them is fine, and the manufacturers say they are fine.
  17. I learnt something today! Do they bring in the ammo to? I have no idea. Just remembered the advert in last weeks ST. Must have done a review at some point too, http://www.shootinguk.co.uk/reviews/shotgun/savage-b-mag-target-17-wsm I wanna see a 22wsm. Take advantage of the semi auto loophole in British law. Unless something has changed the Semi Auto loophole only applies to .22Rimfires, hence why we never had the HMR semi in this country (during its short lifetime). The WSM is only .17, has anyone suggested a .22? Never say never but whilst I may just b
  18. Yep, I've had one for years, actually I'm on my second. My first had a 15.5" barrel which I simply didn't feel comfortable with, so I got a new one, must be about 6-7 years ago, and had it cut to around 19". I have a decent collection of calibres/rifles so it doesn't come out every day, but when it does it works. I use 30Hornady V-Max in mine these days and it effortlessly delivers 1", nearer 1/2" if I try hard. Pure bit of luck, but the woods not bad on mine either, I would have preferred synthetic just the same, but it wasn't available in WMR when I bought mine, and the wooden s
  19. I'm not aware of any distributor bringing them in, I've heard a few have arrived via direct import but my understanding is no more than a handful are here, and who sells the ammo?
  20. Does seem an odd opening post, joining a forum with many thousands of shooting threads, and probably many thousands of experienced, and commonly highly qualified shooters, and attempting to explain a little bit of the laws.
  21. As pretty much everyone here has said, its all about what works best in your gun and is most effective on your quarry. My various .22LR over the years have found Eley Subs to be overrated, they have been no more accurate than my normal brands and have shown less knockdown. I rated Magtech subs for years, they were very accurate and had a huge HP, offering great expansion and knockdown, but prices have gone through the roof and availability diminished, not bought any for 2-3 years at least. The Winchester 40g HP offered similar, although slightly worse performance for me and I've n
  22. ...and .22Lr, HMR, WMR, Hornet, .223, .243 etc etc and all those I've forgotten!
  23. I'll have to look into this new .232 Calibre, not come across it before, but seems to work for you. ATB!
