  1. By the way Jimmy, I have spoken to Edgar Brothers regarding the Hoppes gun blue kit but the guy just didn't know which one it is. I tried to email your photo but it didn't work so you can either send an email with your photo or next time you come to see Si lets get a proper photo and see if I can get it there, or perhaps Sean could help get the photo on an email to Edgar Brothers. Phil
  2. Far far better than I could ever do, good on yer. Phil
  3. A good offer Jimmy as usual mate and I can say this is a lovely gun which I really didn't want to hand back so somebody will have a stunner of a gun, only wish I could qualify but in reality I am far more deserving that Mitch ???. My youngest daughter's boyfriend is wanting to start air rifle shooting but I think he wants a pcp and it would be better with a yougster starting out. Hope you find a suitable candidate Jimmy. Phil
  4. You might have that the wrong way round ? Phil
  5. Just seen this on Hull Cartridge web site which may be of some interest to someone out there. WWW.HULLCARTRIDGE.CO.UK For some bloody reason the link is not working so if interested, look on their website under 'SHOP' and click on 'Ex-Demo stocks' Phil
  6. You are welcome Jimmy, I see the bisley pad fitted alright mate. Phil
  7. Thats a lot of beer cans there Mark ? Phil

    Finally

Totally agree, as your feeder is quite low on the tree, you may find fox, deer, badger, magpie, pheasant, rats etc etc etc....... You might be quite surprised by what comes to have a look, we certainly were when we got our cameras. Oh by the way Ben, I see the new self portrait photo worked out well mate .............................................. miss ? Phil
  9. SOD IT BN............................................got to pay for my Wildcat fac, just bought my S200 and to pay for my hw35.....................oh bugger matey if only I had money and bribed Jimmy to tart it for me. oh well, can't have everything, I guess. Phil
  10. I should explain, this rifle, like a number of others have been taken to our village tip, my pal runs the site so if one comes in, it goes on his refurb list.. This was painted green as the first colour for a cammo job for his son who then changedd his mind and has sat in the shed for a couple of years until now so it will be nice to see how it turns out. Phil
  11. Do you want me to send you a Bisley adjustable pad with the SAK mod Jimmy as I do have one you can have mate. Phil
  12. I actually had a look at the CLX in my local rfd yesterday, feels nice in the shoulder but I cannot see how you get the greater shot count than the standard Ultra. Phil
  13. Cheers Mitch, good of you, I will pm you shortly. Phil
  14. Cheers Mitch. are the ones you have been using the cast slugs or swaged slugs not that I know the difference. I take it they are only available from the factory although not sure where they are. Phil
  15. Looks like a bigger air cylinder than the standard Ultra, more like a Scorpion in an Ultra stock. Nice little gun. Phil
  16. I don't remember these but what an outfit, great fun DB Phil
  17. As my new Wildcat in .22 has a Superior liner, for the first time, I just might have a gun suitable for these little babies. It should be here either this week or next week so where do I get them from Mitch. Phil
  18. We have five permanent hides and each one has both a shelf to hold cartridges, drinks, phone etc etc plus a cross bar to rest the rifles when using them so why don't you think about a slight modification to the hide so you build in rifle supports and anything else you need. It is also worth looking for a seat you can leave there so it is always ready to go. We have either a double seat box or two garden chairs in each hide, be comfortable when you are just sat there. Phil
  19. If you are using a take down / portable hide that is always going to be the same height, you could cut the bipod to a suitable size for that hide or look to buy a camera tripod but be aware many of the cheap ones are not rigid and you need it to be and I would also buy a black tripod otherwise the polished silver legs will need painting. A decent make is Velbon and not too expensive. Velbon camera tripod WWW.EBAY.CO.UK <p dir="ltr" style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0;">camera tripod and Pullman bag. Condition is "Used". 21. It may be worth calling Hull Cartridge and ask if they have any marked or slight damaged stocks in their warehouse as I know they do get them and I believe they don't all go back to Germany. Nothing to lose. Phil
