  1. Its about time that knackered old green hw was replaced for something decent..................................................................tell you what BN, I will take it off your hands, I know it's good of me but we have to help eachother. ? Phil
  2. I popped in the rfd today but unusually they have no s/h hw100 guns in at all but if something comes in, I will let you know. Phil
  3. I am in my rfd tomorrow so will have a look as he often has s/h guns in stock although I know he has a number of hw110 rifles in but usually hw100 as well. You should ask Bigmac97kt as Jimmy knows the area and may be able to point you in the right direction. Phil
  4. Can't you get one from your local rfd or are you looking for a s/h gun. Phil
  5. I think I might sell a lung and get one................. Phil
  6. It's good to see you out and enjoying your shooting Jimmy, you two will have to take it in turns as to who is shooting the next squizzer. I must admit looking at the shooter sat down with rifle on the sticks, I wondered how Mark Williams got there ?. Welcome to my world matey, nowt wrong with a comfortable seat. Phil
  7. Don't you bloody start Jimmy, I have enough with these other buggers ??
  8. Not sure what power level the Wildcat could be taken up to but for me I don't want any more as I have the Impact at 60fpe and as for getting old................. true.
  9. Did I mention that I don't like the Sniper version WELL I DON'T ? Phil
  10. I have the Wildcat Mk3 .22 fac Ben, love it matey but I went for the standard compact version as I do not like the Sniper at all, if I wanted a longer gun, I would have bought something else. Mine is a joy to use at 30fpe down to around 12fpe is brilliant around the farm buildings as well as taking ferals over the barn roof, I have only used it out to 55mt so far but I can say that both the rats & the feral pigeon wished I had not bought it ?. They are light to carry at 2.6kg without scope and very quick handling which is useful out of the car window on a couple of our perms. I c
  11. Yes I had one but couldn't hit a thing, not the gun however, more to do with my shooting. Several members on here made the gun talk but I was not able to until I had it tuned and then my god, what a difference, pellet on pellet even in my hands. A superb rifle but a heavy bugger if you are walking around with it. Phil
  12. No my Wildcat Mk3 is fac. This Uragan is also 1kg heavier than the Wildcat....... Just looking back Mitch, I see that it looks as though I was talking about loving my Uragan,,,,, not the case, I don't have one, my poor wording in this case. Phil
  13. I think it's time to buy a new tin and melt those down for fishing weights. Phil
  14. I know you guys have some seriously good weather but when I have been to various parts of the States on business, the humidity was a killer, at least it was for me so I am not surprised to hear that affects your kit. In the UK we need to dry off after the rain but humidity is not a problem here ? Phil
  15. Saw this on facebook but it was all in another language. So is it a better sensor. Phil
  16. I did fit one of those combat straps that connect to a single point but compared to a normal strap that I have on my rimfire, it is rubbish although I hear it is possible to get a butt pad spacer with a connecting point but where the hell would I fit the other end. My shooting buddy, Chris, has put up a post on facebook that you (Mitch) responded to regarding the Crown fac and one of the advantages of the Crown is it weighs less and can fit a conventional shoulder strap but before you lot say anything, he is going to sell the Impact .25fac and go for a Crown because of the weight advantage,
  17. Ian, Mitch............................it doesn't matter as I said, my pal now has a second 008
  18. I tend to agree Jimmy, just thought the overall colour might tickle your taste buds.

  20. I don't think it matters now Mitch as he loves his new 008 and the IR range seems superb, far better than his other 008.
  21. You maybe right Mitch, sometimes we all tend to go through these stages. I have just got used to the weight difference with the Wildcat at 2.6k and the Impact at 3.1k which doesn't sound much but when carrying it, you certainly feel it and both the Wildcat and Crown can have shoulder straps. I walk a fair way with my Tikka rimmy with the strap, very comfortable unlike the Impact. I loved the Impact and still rate it but I am loving my Wildcat.
  22. That was always my original plan as I have a slot on my ticket for several barrels including .22 which would be a superior liner around £400 including one mag which I wouldn't want as it will not fit my gun so the older mag required, hmmm might revisit that one but really wanted to reduce weight, hence the Wildcat / Crown.
  23. Never had hold of the sniper but the Crown feels really nice and if I do get one I would proberbly use that for slugs and my Mk3 Wildcat for everything else. Must sort out the lotto...................................... the only friggin way I will get the Crown and Pard 008 ?
