That makes me feel good as I call them 'dust carts' as well............................hmmm, old timer.....................ok. Phil

When you and Jason came to my place a while ago, I was amazed just how accurate that gun was and it looks good plus it feels nice in the shoulder. Two friends have bought the Kral NP-02 and 03 and to be honest they are spot on in terms of accuracy. Perhaps Kral have got their act together. Phil

I am a big fan of fac air and seriously rate their performance. I have been using them for over the past 6 years and rarely use my rimfire nowadays. Phil

Don't try to understand it, just silly, zero as normal. Phil

For the life of me, I cannot see any point whatsoever in an 8yd windage. Phil

That's what you call service and the prices look very good Mitch.

You can buy a red torch on ebay along with a scoe clamp to hold the torch without spending much dosh and give you a good starting point. Phil

Mark even I was able to shoot that one ............................................................................ pure fluke perhaps ? Phil

Very nice collection. I have two of those scopes and agree they are spot on. Phil

Does Gamo make a PCP air rifle in .25 caliber?
philpot replied to Johnmash2's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I believe they do make a .25 as I seem to recall some guy in your country who was shooting small hogs with one but because of the better pricing structure you have in the states, I would not be buying a Gammo when there are far better guns available to you and all in full power. Phil -
Not bad at all for the price Tim...................................and just where have you been hiding matey. Phil
-
No idea but what isn't made in China

Its good to hear that both of you are on the mend Joe and Jimmy, just have to be careful guys. Phil

I popped into the rfd today to look for an AO scope for my son in law and whilst routing round in the back room, I found a little scope just sitting there all on it's own looking sad and forgotten. On closer viewing, it turned out to be a Richter Optik, 4x32 AO, IR complete with flip up covers................................ now I was not wanting a little scope but I thought, there are times in the past when I wanted a small scope for a particular gun or person so if this little fella was cheap enough, it would be handy to have in my spares drawer. The shop had bought a few of these, only a

Yes I sw that Mitch, seems bloody high to me but what do I know.

My son in law has 'aquired' a Redfield Revolution scope, 3-9 x 50mm on a gun he bought recently but as he has a damged eye, he needs an AO or SF scope so here is the thing, what are they worth as I have not seen them before but he assures me they can fetch upto £200 s/h............................... I have no idea but he wants to sell it so I would like to give him a sensible guide price. Words of wisdom. Phil

Two pal0s have bought Kral NP02 at about £350 new and although I have heard that they are not good but it has to be said, these two guns are very accurate plus they have adjustable slide on stocks or the newer NP 03 which has a stock that will change in length and comb height which is approx £100 more. Perhaps worth looking at. Phil

You need to decide if it is to be a springer or pcp but if a pcp, BSA do a junior stock on their Ultra model which can be updated later to an adult stock, lightweight and well priced. I am not the one to suggest a suitable springer for a junior so will leave that to others. It might be worth stating what your budget is as there may be some very good second hands guns that our members may have to sell plus it helps us offer better advice. Phil

If a few of you want the Hoppes kit, phone Edgar Brothers to get some on their next order, this is by far the best way to get it or go on ebay US and ship it over yourselves. Phil
-
Any springer may be good in the right hands but takes a lot more practice to become good enough to shoot live quarry. You will have greater success more quickly using a pcp air rifle but then you need either an air tank to fill the gun or a pump then you will have multiple shots capability. Visit a good dealer and look at the kit, when you see something you like, ask the lads on here for opinions. Phil

Never had any issues with mine Mitch but may be worth giving Forest Lodge guns a call and ask for Matt, the owner as he has forgotton more about rifles than most people ever know so could know of the problem and what is available to sort it. 01673 858554 Phil

Looks like I need a shotgun now
philpot replied to Wolfdog91's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I only wish the MECs were mine, soon get them sorted ready to roll again. I do like the Mec loaders, if you don't want then just put a big post mark and ship to England ? Phil -
I thought that HW rifles all performed better with 5.52mm but stand to be corrected by those who actually know, it was just something that stuck in my mind. Phil

Chris a knackered his back Jimmy and laid up for a month, he is moving around very slowly with a walking stick but hardly able to pick up the kettle let alone his gun. He has acually bought a new ratting gun but has not been able to fire a shot yet. Phil
