Greb,Dogfox ,what ever alias ,the bloke is funny ,not claiming to have a 3/3 hare dog ,digging 12 footers to a dead fox ,just brings a bit of banter to a forum ,make him a moderator6 points

It will be banned here to but it doesn’t really matter. Everyone will still hunt here. There’s no public footpaths. Much more rural and farmers are on our side. Have permission keep things right and look after the farmers and there’s not much can be done. We haven’t enough Gardai in towns and cities to police things don’t mind out the country . Garda stations closed down in every village in the country. Worse things going on in the world than a bit of hunting. It will die out on its own before then anyway cause no young people are arsed with it anymore all they want is go to college take a Hap6 points

Greb casts a line and the same people take the bait every time ! I’ve had some very decent conversations with him about all sorts. Never had a problem with him. The secret is not to bite, if the conversation gets out of hand, just don’t reply. Cheers.5 points

My lad went fishing with his pal today. Been hitting river Calder but getting ghosted due to all shite from shit works. So told him to try this bit of canal that I used to go too that held some decent size perch. Just sent me a pic of this beast what would you say. It's a big fish by the placement of his fingers. Gave him a few jellys , lures , spinners too that a got off temu.4 points

Facts are,....If you seriously work a genuine hunting/mouching style whippet,...it will inevitably hit a few, bits and pieces.... Back in the day,...I was privileged to own, breed and work,.. quite a few of these diminutive Rabbiters,.,.. I also Judged hundreds at the various country shows that were so much in vogue, at that time. Some of them were so scarred up , that their svelte, silky coats resembled a road map of the British Isles.... Disregarding the obvious attributes of physique and correct conformation,....I never took ANY notice of marks gained through their4 points

Not been on for a while, not been much to report. Spent today making a header tank set up and pig drinker, gone well and they were straight on with drinking from it. Will still get mucky and need a wash out but better than tub I was using. Moved the 8 chicks from brooder into main hen house. Also bought some curing salts and a bacon slicer so I've got all my bacon joints out to cure this week and slice next weekend. Still need to build the new chicken run but will get round to it at some point! Had loads of produce from the veg plot I the end. Got tonnes of tomatoes s3 points

Was about two miles from the car and it pissed down and that f***ing Jack Pike jacket useless piece of shit let the rain through like a cheese cloth shirt Lol. Still found the first Horse mushroom of the year some Fieldies a few Chanterelles. In one field I find what looks like Brown Field mushrooms the only field I every find them. They look just like the one you get in the super market. going to do a bit of research on them. Cheers Arry3 points

Still learning to shoot traditional bow off the shelf . Had 1 lesson off a competition longbow shooter at his house. Said I was doing ok self taught really. He had me doing drawing drills eyes closed and a couple of shots eyes closed. Felt like yoda and skywalker Jedi training “ go on young Leo use the force , the archery is strong in you ! “ lol . But am still enjoying the ride. I’ve been practicing shooting at random objects to suss my gaps when shooting.3 points

I have this discussion regular and have had it plenty of times on here, but imho there just isn’t any proper forwards anymore mate. This generation of players have all been brought up coached in the “multi role” system, my personal evaluation is that it’s basically wingers who can do a few jobs…..some may disagree but it’s what I’ve seen and read in the UEFA player pathway and with UEFA A & B academy coaching. Its what Ajax have done for decades and that is basically the UEFA model. Its all triangles and intricate little inter changes (which is nothing new) but it’s all, rec2 points

First home win of the season, tidy little turn out. Mind you, Delaps goal was a belter….watched him a couple of games and he is in the sort of form where you can’t give him any space. Watched Traore have an absolute nightmare for Fulham…..Jesus Christ, awful ! Arsenal are grinding out the results but I don’t know, they just never feel that commanding when you watch them…..that said, I only watch MOTD edited stuff so it never tells the whole story, maybe I’m wrong. Me and the boy are off to see Sligo Rover v Celtic on Wednesday, we have our Glasgow Rangers shirts ironed and2 points

5 o'clock still dark so maybe Northern Light said in the media there would be a good chance of see them because of a solar flair. Cheers Arry2 points

Had a really nice time over the week, went wandering into small towns, and went looking at fossils in a 300 yard long cave 90 feet below ground, saw a few bats (a young girl died in ontario last month after contracting rabies from a bat),the cave had a river entrance,a sinkhole entrance and a normal entrance.2 points

I’ve had dogs that won’t run rabbits (unless I send them on) as there sat on the edge of cover that’s too tight for the dogs to enter. They know the land well and they know that running towards such rabbits is pointless, they keep trotting forward looking for rabbits sat further out. Definitely not gutless in this case, they just learned from experience.2 points

Busy afternoon. Faggots for the pub guys. Spaghetti Bol sauce ready for tonight. Cottage pie for tomorrow. Apple and cinnamon pies for whoever. Not a bad effort. Jok.2 points

Not a working terrier in the true sense, he doesn't work below ground, but an excellent busher and does mark and dig out rats, hunts rivers and streams well.2 points
