  1. Never had the chance to speak to her direct... RIP
  2. Takeaways just go with the territory for me.. Ate some of the best chinese in NY. Pizza NY too.. Some of the best Indian in Manchester (though there was that one in Portugal!) The best Kebab ever is on Breck Rd Anfield... And so it goes... Play to your town and local strengths, each and every town and village in this land has great fast food.... An thats what its all about...!
  3. Films; Last of the Mohicans Kingdome of Heaven The Searchers True Romance A Good Year City of God And half a million others but these are my must watches... Tv; Taboo
  4. Maybe its just me but... It's just about the ONLY yearly event i've never wanted to go to. Seeing horses gripped by fear is not my idea of a day out.... Maybe its all propoganda BUT watching horses half drowning, petrified with fear, whilst being 'washed' (half drowned) in a f***ing river, is not really my bag. Nor some shirtless, crowing traveller youth kicking f**k out of a cob to show his prowess in riding bareback down the streets.... Can't wait to read the cruelty cases on here, because they always follow... Ain't my bag... Yep, i'm a hunter and i've killed j
  5. K'inell... ! In over 10 years on this site, over 5 years as a Moderator, i've had to trawl through some theorectical shite in my time but some posts on this thread are as good as it gets... ?

    Football !!

    Got me 't'shirt sorted...
  7. In the 90's i dug to 2 dogs direct out of Miner and a few others direct from Brians yard. The difference was a third of the size and a lot more down time. Miner was probably the last 'throwback' to the old stuff... As for Park bred stuff, i've owned and my friends still own dogs of this line (direct from John) and NONE of these dogs have ever been mass produced. They may come from the same stock but they are worlds apart...
  8. Well yesterday i was on a late in work so dogs were walked an ferrets fed. Home just after 8 and let dogs out and get their grub ready, then sit back with a brew before feeding em. We (me and the Mrs) both heard the noise but couldnt work out what it was, as it was muffled by the telly. Then another but this time different. I got up to investigate and went out the back, soon as i opened the door both dogs shot back in their seperate pens, sommat was up..? Then a white flash out the corner of my eye and a ferret was out.! The noise came to me... A Fenn going off... My trap, always ready, in
  9. Love lots of different tipples but if it came down to just one a decent bottle of red wine for me every time. Not a wine snob though, hate that..! You can find wines to suit at almost any price. Right now its 19 Crimes but my all time fave is made by my mate Paulo in Portugal.... Can't wait to see him again.
  10. I just can't take both his writing style nor his book layout... I end up flustrated trying to piece his books together.
  11. We have family in Portugal and its a fantastic country. If we could we would move there tomorrow. My Mrs father and step-mother moved over there 20 years ago. Firstly in ths Algarve and after a few years, with working with the Portuguese Guide Dog School, north to 'go native' near a little town called Mortagua, where the school is. The little village they live in looks like sommat out of Kellys Hero's, half expect a Sherman tank to come rolling down the streets...! I love northern Portugal, the people, the food, the lifestyle, all fantastic... As for hunting, plenty of boar
  12. Packham is not someone to be taken lightly. He gains popularity almost daily and IMO will be lining up a 'shock doc' on hunting....

    Teachers

I only have good memories of school The FB page dedicated to it is called 'I Survived Anny Comp' which i suppose sums up 1400 all boys comprehensive in the middle of Anfield... Wasnt the easiest school to be in, especially when i was no saint but still it was a happy time for me. Teachers were tough feckers in the main, they had to be and yes, we had our share of orrible sadistic b*****ds too but some of the dedication and effort they showed to us was above and beyond.
  14. Honestly the red shite were my tip from the off. As Wilf said, its Salah that will make it happen tomorrow.
  15. Though its the last thing us hunters need, I thought the programme could have been much worse. Maybe that i'm old enough to have watched The Cook Report when that first aired, the Irish one and every other terrier nasty thats been shown and i'm a little hardened to them now... Or maybe that it was a poorly constructed documentary, with nothing we've not seen before and having to resort to film from the 90's to substanciate claims and showing complete idiots who dont have a care about who they brag to or show what they are up to, they came across to the none terrier folk i know to be the fools
  16. Would have liked to have gone to this one but work stops play...
  17. I'd have a read through the half million posts on the subject here.... Think you'll find most people keep what they think's best....
