The fact of the matter is that some folks treat dogs much different than others and dont give a feck about it. See, some dogs just end up with a piss poor standard of living, without any direct cruelty inflicted. Both would/could work. Gouldy bought Flint for a decent sum, knowing there was a few bob to be made from him.     - Only ever bring one pup on to train and that training will take about 2 years, dont let your head get turned whilst its ongoing. - Never get jealous of someone else training their pup, put all your effort into your own. - For the first 6 months of its life its a 'puppy', not a lurcher, so train it as one. - Good recall is a must but they aint robots, so there will be slip up's now and again. - Never over do retrieve training, it should always be a game. - Teach a pup to jump but don't overface it. - Make sure your pup is stock trained. - If your pup is to b

    Over the past 12 months i've seen enough collie bred pups and adults advertised on facebook sites to tell me they are far from endangered. Be patient, seek out these pages and other websites like Dragon Driving. The right litter will eventually turn up. And if you've not got patience, then go to Hancocks, you'll get exactly what your after, just do your homework on his studs.

    Two line bred belly brothers, one put to another line bred lurcher, the other to a bull cross. Pups from each litter hard tested and put the best back to each other. Up to date and the line has continued with no outcrosses and will do for years to come.

    It's the game thats changed, not the various crosses ability.... One of the qualities of both collie an beddy crosses is that they 'fit in'. No one bats an eye on the type because they are popular pets.... Edited to add... If your serious about your game, you'll run whatever cross gets the job done... End of...
