  1. If foxes were still legal, a man with a good dog could do very well squeeking urbans round Dartford & Bexleyheath parks and open spaces. And if its rats, try the shrubberys planted around your local McDonalds or KFC, just mind the traffic. Last winter we had a family stroll round Sefton Park Liverpool and the place was heaving with rats, all going about their business without a care. The people with children didn't give a fig about the rats either, not even when they jumped out of the litter bins as children threw rubbish in...!
  2. London is chock full of urbans. Have mates over the river in Kent who are almost plagued by em.
  3. Good to see that you can put enough in front of 4 to come home like that Joe... ?

Maybe its just me but the Dam has changed quite a bit over the past 30 years. Was there last about 7 years ago and its a far more polished city than it once was. Suppose thats good for me as i've got older and (mostly!) moved on from thoses hostel staying halcyon days. There is/was a great knife shop, which i found first time there, upstairs in a little souvenere type shop. It was still there last visit. Think it was on the Damstrat or around there..??
  5. She's used mainly as a busher Darbo, from day to day mooching to organised fox drives. When she's behind something she sings like a bird. Only had a few outings with her ferreting and i've given my ferrets to a mate, as i wasn't doing enough with them. She's a decent marker, especially on rats and makes a real handy member of the team. The lads call her the JCB when she's digging. She's very strong in the shoulders and can certainly shift some earth and anything else that gets in her way! It always makes me laugh as her first rat is usually taken with her half spaniel side and she's soft
  6. It is a cracker FD, my mates terrier and another mate with the camera. ?
  7. Seen a rabbit hit by the car infront. Stopped to pick it up for ferret food, only to find a stoat attached to its neck, also stone dead.
  8. Found this, live and well, on my mums living room floor...
  9. A fave photo from an outing last year.
  10. Yes MrP, all the dogs in my photos were Pie line bred half crosses. Edited to add, there were/are some if these over your side too ?
  11. Err sort of.... To be honest, i noticed more of a change from the collie crosses... Not half as neuritic or needy. I always clicked with terrier mentality, especially bull blood mentality, bitches even more so...
  12. Although i've owned both bull and collie crosses in themselves. The collie bull grey crosses have been very good. Temperement has been a big positive for me also, as both dogs i've owned have been a pleasure to own, kennel and train.
