  1. Good post Tracy , I'd agree with you on why we see bigger terriers these days. The only Parkin I know is Walter Parkin and he's long gone.
  2. You should be able to get 'everything' hunting for £100 in China.

    No Tax Disc

Having no tax disc will be like a blast from the past for me...
  4. Just something I was thinking about whilst walking the dogs this morning... In my youth, there was a distinct 'type' of working terrier called a Border/Lakeland, though rarely did it ever seem to be a direct cross of the two breeds, it was a distinct type and easily recognisable. These days we read about lines, his line, that line, this line but little is said about what once was a 'common type'. Does anyone still call the type they have Border/Lakeland...??

  8. There was a famous Russell a long time ago called Pickaxe.
  9. If I wanted a genuine collie cross, then I would not rule Hancock dogs out....
  10. Oh those distant pre-ban days of urban foxes, I do miss them...
  11. Is there much about on there nowadays mate? Trying to get my pup going on the lamp and it's dead round here. No mate, where you could put 30+'s in the bag in a couple of hours, you'd be lucky to get over 5..! If you need to give a youngster a couple of spins if the grounds hard (dry or frozen) everywhere else it's ok but not now as most of it is still high.
  12. Me too... Yes you did...... It's where you had unlimited access to midget porn......... I used to get that from the Asian fella down the boozer, with a bag full of shiny disks....
  13. Local lamping is fecked with hard ground at the minute and the dunes are still too high....
  14. I've had a Swazi jacket (gillet) for over ten years, worn week in week out and its still my best bit of kit...
  15. I'd agree, very sad to say but I can't see anyone able to help him but himself. Damn shame too.
  16. Just watching the opening ceremony last night was quite humbling....
  17. A mate of mine suffered a bad skull fracture being knocked arse over tit by two big lurchers bursting out of cover. Luckily for him the fox shooting out almost at his feet caused him to turn sharpish and face the opposite way to watch it go, otherwise them dogs would have snapped his legs too! I think plenty have had a 'bump' or two when lamping. Dizzy bunnies can head right back down the beam and a transfixed lamper can really get hurt by a transfixed mutt..!
  18. I've always fancied one of these pity its not big enough.
  19. Reading the ingredients on that orlando, its very much the same as wag or any other low grade dog food, i can not see how its close to barf? Prehaps it has a higher meat content that is not listed as percentage ,although the first listed ingredient on their is cereal? To be honest Phil now you mention it, I've never read the contents label on the back, or if I have it's gone right out of my head. These days I judge any dog food by the dogs condition and what comes out the other end, I can't be fecked with labels. I bought it as I was stuck and I did notice that unlike changing wit
  20. Orlando, sold in Lidl. Nearest thing to barf I've ever fed. Though I do use chicken mince 3/4 times a week with it.
  21. My reply to any nosy vet would be simply be, 'I don't know, it was bought off the net and if you want to carry on asking I can go and spend my money elsewhere!' Because that's the thing with almost all vets now, it is ALL about the money and that will always hit 'em where it hurts most...
