  1. I was looking at them Pattstaff but figured they would get torn to shreds bramble bashing. After some good recommendations I went for the Dunlop Purofort, comfy and just about indestructible..!
  2. Cooked bones are usually the source Lennon. Dogs on a good diet are very rarely constipated.
  3. Yer, but was your barber 'limping'.... What was all that about, as a kid about 90% of all old boy barbers limped...!
  4. That was the No.2 bowl from Jack Gunyon, 'The Yankee Clipper'.... One of them good 'ol fashioned 'limping' Barbers, where the blokes were all asked 'something for the weekend' and us kids got a toffee apple (that was manky as feck inside!).
  5. I've put this pic up before... We called her a mongrel collie but her shape, if you looked hard enough, showed sommat a bit more racy, you can see it a bit in that 'bit longer' muzzle and ear carrage... She caught rabbits for fun, day in day out without any encouragement and most days it was either an embarrassment or a pain in the arse but when me dad took her out properly, she was a class act... Oh yer, thats me on 'your' left...

    London

No moaning from the Scousers Wilf, though we'd still be enjoying the grub, we wouldn't have paid for it anyway...! London, greatest capital in the world bar none...! Love the place, prices an all...
  7. Good for you Socks, he served you well so you got him sorted. Now, are you gonna make a charm bracelet out of 'em or wear 'em round your hat, all Mick Dundee style....?
  8. That's them. They looked good and if I needed a pair I'd have bought them.Fell boots will spoil you for digging and hunting, once your used to them nothing else will do. to be honest mate they don't look that comfortable to me especially if you have to walk a good distance on rough ground to get to your destination the peacekeepers safety boots are the way forward but everyone is different I suppose These fellas cover a mile or two each week (and it ain't a fecking bowling green!), none of them wear peacekeepers....!
  9. No, it's been with Moggy since it was a ball of fluff...
  10. Damn good dog this, should be the very ticket for someone wanting an honest dog.

Lol... Them wild eyed boys that had been away...

  13. Ooo, like that... Some real skill and effort went into that, the finish is excellent.
  14. You may as well see the funny side John, because it probably won't be the last time you'll ever get a tug but at least with this one you can safely say that your Police friend drove away, after checking, with egg all over his face and feeling a bit of a dick. Just shows thats what we are up against, ignorance on the hunting act, both with the law and sadly ourselves, in a lot of cases...
  15. Nowt wrong with the weather right about now, it's been pissing down for a few days and anyways, if we waited for 'ideal' conditions, we'd never get out... As for on here, same old same old....
  16. There used to be words for such troops in the past, what where they.... Oh yer, cannon fodder....
