    You haven't said what your end game is ? Obviously,..a specialist bred, Non-Ped will be the master on the track....in fact, nothing can touch these superlative speedsters over their prefered distance. I've had plenty,.they are fabulous , unique critters and if a hare rises in front of them,...they will usualy spin it over in double quick time.. But,.for roustabout lurcher work,....I would now go for the Pedigree, KC style, 'working whippet'..     Ran my wee Cur over a similar place Nottzhunter... At first glace,.such a terrain appears to be a killing field, easy pickings,...but,...after a few misses,...me and my partner decided to undertake a scientific experiment.... We ran across the field at our fastest pace, (it was comical) ,..and like Forrest Gump,..we kept on running,...and predictably,..we ended up face down, amidst the turf Queer old place,..I'm sure that, given time,..a ferreting Jukel would adapt,..but until that frosty morn dawns,..its a fecking Tumbler we all need Keep the clips coming,...all the best, Phil.

    I derive great pleasure in looking after my wee Mouchers ... I like to see them warm and comfortable,...I spoil them something rotten... Obviously,..nowadays,..they are mostly pets,...but, there was a time when I owed the lurcher a great debt of gratitude. Without their constant endevour, I would have been finished,...and most definitely skint... "Work them hard, and treat them like heroes"...
