  1. Yes, so did I, but the "non-ped" whippets aren't " pure " as most have some greyhound in them. So a non-ped whippet x greyhound shouldn't be called an "F1", but they would certainly be "grews". But that's just my opinion. Cheers.
  2. There are plenty top class, extremely fast non-ped "whippets", bred from top non-ped whippets x greyhound. Im not sure if they could be called "f 1" as the sires will most likely have some greyhound in their make up, so possibly will be slightly more greyhound than whippet. Perhaps this is the type of stud dog you're after ? Cheers.
  3. Cracking pups, Davey. If they turn out anything like Bruce, they'll do the job ! Cheers.
  4. Wether we are a "first tier" or "second tier" nation is a moot point; but we can't be BOTH. We can't be a "second tier" nation in imposing austerity on our own people while continuing to be a "first tier" nation in being one of the worlds biggest aid givers, in per capita terms. We can't be a "second tier" military power, downgrading our military, while joining in every war and trying to project military power, like a "first tier" nation. Its a fact of life that all Empires fade or fall, from the Roman to the Ottomam, to the British. Yes, Britain is only a shadow of its former
  5. If you look at it disspationately, you can't blame the immigrants for wanting a better life ! The people to blame are the left wing, politically correct, virtue signallers, and the politicians who are so afraid of having their noses pushed out of the trough, that they ignore the silent majority, and bend over backwards to appease the vocal minority ! How can we change things ? Well, I've thought long and hard and decided that it's to entrenched to change. We, as a country have been in a decline since we pulled back from east of Suez, and the establishment seem happy to become a
  6. I put a post up on a couple of sites some time back, entitled " Are Pures Realy Pure ?". It was basically about my first cross Deerhound/Greyhound. It was easy tracing her lineage way, way, back using The Deerhound Archive and the Greyhound Stud book and Greyhound Data. On the Deerhound side, it wasn't to far back when Ms. Noble was given permission by the KC to add Greyhound to her Ardkinglass line. On the Greyhound side there was Orfords Bull blood, and a bit farther back there was "Rough Greyhound" and "Scottish Greyhound". So, what I'm saying is; if you test Nobles
  7. We went from steam power to petrol power to nuclear power in around 150 years, a blink of the eye in the grand scheme of things. We went from a canvas and wood airplane flying less than 100 yards, to putting men on the moon, and bringing them back safely, in about 70 years, again, an instant in the grand scheme of things ! We've harnessed nuclear fission, and are close to nuclear fusion, so is it to much to ask that we can, in time, find a way of neutralising the waste ? Cheers.
  8. Don't the pedigree whippet racing club DNA test any whippet suspected of having greyhound blood in it ? Ive no faith in dog DNA testing as different company's have different methods. Some have a data base of around 300 "breeds", but whose to say what was actually in the "breeds" that tested. Cheers.
  9. I'll take advice of most people. Never to old to learn is my motto. But I draw the line at listening to the likes of that illiterate, ego centric, know all, bullshitting oaf. Cheers.
  10. There's plenty breeds around the world still doing what they were bred for, including the Polish Chartpolski, Russian Borzoi, Indian Rampur and Caravan hounds, to name a few..........but they are as rare as Ricky horse shite, so finding a genuine one as a base for lurcher breeding is nigh on impossible! Best stick to the tried and tested Greyhound, methinks ! Cheers.
  11. Put her ear tattoo into Greyhound Data, Joe, and it'll give you all the info. Cheers.
  12. Wouldn't it be great if we could just say to the E U "Fock you, remember what happened to the Belgrano when it ignored our warning not to encroach on our exclusion zone ?" Ahhh well, we can but dream....... Cheers.
  13. She's not a good bet to die of old age, peacefully in her own bed........ Cheers.
  14. Missus told me I had to wear a mask to go to Asda. When I got there, security wouldn't let me in ! Fuckers want to make their minds up ! Cheers.
  15. I used to work in North Sheilds almost 50 years ago, and it was a thriving fishing port with a big fleet and fish market. I went there last week to buy fresh seafood......the market was closed and there was only a handful of boats. Shops that were fish merchants or ships chandlers are now trendy restaurants and bars. There was a few shops selling fish and seafood, but it was mostly frozen imported stuff. Im a dedicated Brexiteer, but I have no faith in the government making a clean break. Total control of our coasts and seas is a requisite of being an independent, sovereign
  16. Adultery is punishable by death, but certain rules apply; If you were both married, (not to each other), you would be beheaded, she would be stoned. If you were both single, you would both be caned. In reality, if you were a westerner, you'd just be deported, and the woman's punishment would depend to a large extent on what her father or brothers thought. Cheers.
  17. Saudi nationals have free healthcare, free schooling, house building grants, there was no taxes whatsoever, until recently when 5% vat was imposed on certain items. Food, fuel, electricity and water are subsidised. BUT, it's certainly not a "free" country ! There's no voting, criticism of the royals or the government, (basically the same thing), is punished severely, woman are, to some extent, second class citizens, but the vast majority of Saudis I know are happy with the set up. In the west, we make a big thing of saudi women not being allowed to drive, but my daughter in law says
  18. It's an "Absolute Monarchy", Wilf. The King appoints ministers and controls all finances. It is, in effect, HIS country ! There is no immigration, and you can't apply for citizenship. You can only live there as a foreigner if you have a sponsor and a job. Its very difficult for Saudis to marry foreigners, a saudi man can marry a Muslim, Christian or Jew, but a saudi woman can only marry a Muslim.......go figure ! It has opened up slightly , you can now get a visit visa to attend one of the big sporting events they now hold. Before, you had to have close relatives living there,
  19. My missus had a trip to the Arctic, ticking another thing off her bucket list; doing her "Agnes Hailstone, Life Below Zero" impression ! Not exactly roughing it or living off the land ! LOL ! But it was about 30 below ! I was quite envious when she told me about the dog mushing, reindeer sledding, ice fishing, ptarmigan shooting, etc ! Cheers.
  20. I lived in Saudi for many years, and saw real punishments, in real time ! Heads chopped off for murder, rape, paedophilia, drug smuggling, and the quaint old offence of "poisoning a well" ! Hand chopped of for theft, hand AND foot for certain offences. Anything from caning to crucifiction depending on the crime. Prisons are absolute shitholes; 20, 30, 40 to a cell, if you want to eat, your family or friends have to bring you food or else it's just bread and water ! Just imagine the screaming outrage from the snowflake, woke, liberal left if these punishments were sugge
  21. Actually, you DID say "UK constitution ", hence my long winded reply, but it matters not, I'm sure we are on the same wavelength ? Also well spotted with the shadow, I must admit I missed it, but on closer inspection of the sign and her hands it's obviously, very badly photoshopped ! Cheers
  22. While I can empathise with what you are saying about people moaning but not actually DOING anything, how do they get to have a meaningful input ? To become a lawmaker like an MP or Councillor, it's almost impossible to get elected as an independent, the main parties have that sewn up, and without their backing you'll get nowhere ! To become a judge you need to be part of the "Establishment ", and again, need the patronage of one of the main political parties. Even to become a JP is almost impossible without being a Mason or being "in the know" ! How do you become a school g
  23. Slavery wasn't abolished in Saudi Arabia and Yeman until 1962, when Britain threatened to block their joining of the United Nations. It wasn't abolished in Oman, (another sphere of British influence), until 1970. I've met many black Saudis who will tell you their parents and grandparents were slaves, or they were the product of Saudi owner/slave unions. Britain recieved no thanks whatsoever for ending slavery on the Arabian peninsula. As has been said, why aren't the BLM shit weasels not mentioning any of this ? Well, of course it's because "only whites can be racist " !
  24. They won't be sold mate, or advertised, neither will the Saluki types. They'll be gifted to friends and family, and lads that will work them. Theres still plenty of good lads in the game. ? Cheers.
  25. Old school........like us; you sentimental old sod ! LOL ! Cheers.
