If you are going to clean it make sure you CLEAN IT. Too many people seem to do a quick job, raise fouling and then complain its worse! Proper gun cleaning is not a 5 minute job, and please don't tell me you used a pull through to do it! If it isn't that, then simply step through all the other options. Several listed above, and don't discount the fact the scope could be fubared!

Every persons requirements are different, but of the two, 22-250 could be argued to be the best, unfortunately life isn't that simple, if you want what a 22-250 can give you I would always suggest moving a bit more and get a .243. Even if you're not sure now, get a .223 AND a .243 later!

I have one site full of ferals and I have had numerous cats in the sights at night over the years, they seem to turn up in the strangest places sometimes. None really caused any problems that I can think of!

Interesting black rabbit, I have dealt with quite a few over the years but they have all been completely black, not seen one with those hints of brown!

Lots of Otters on the Thames from Reading to the source, some apparently sighted nearer London as well! Parakeets almost arrived at Reading as well, I've seen them get closer and closer over the years and they are literally about a mile away now!

Sometimes mine gets quick, regular, use, then things go quiet for a while, its stored with whatever is left in it. No problems seem to have turned up so far, my oldest is about 18 years old!

Nothing wrong with either, both will serve you well so it comes down to PERSONAL preference, money, aesthetics, feel etc. Tikka for me!

There are 2 branches of a well known and very large Supermarket that have holes in the walls to vouch for that. I used to do a lot of Pest Control for them, and pigeons had to be removed from shop floors, the FAC Air was too much and commonly went clean through, so 12ft lb quickly became the tool of choice!

As a HV .22lr round they suited my CZ well, pretty fast and heavy (tight to chamber often) but not much argued with them!

How far are you from Reading and what do you charge?!

Very little runs anywhere if hit by any type of .308 in anything close the right place, and certainly not anything I would call vermin!
