  1. If it's a Mercury Challenger, I may be able to sort you out with a PCP
  2. Fair enough I suppose, it's a bit vanilla considering some of the other choices but, not a bad choice
  3. Probably just a training run - maybe just checking out their kit by targeting different things on the ground etc.
  4. I saw a little bit of it - it did my head in that they gave all of the mongrels funny names. And as for the daft tart that had her dogs ears and feet dyed pink - ffs What dog got 1st place?
  5. I had a quick chat about this recently - at the moment, I don't know if it's because the lighter weight pellets arrive faster and stop quicker or, because they deform and split when they hit something solid (skull as opposed to ribs). I've seen a couple of debates about this on other forums in the past - Pellet dumping all of its energy Vs pass through wound channel. ...... I prefer hunting with .177 heavy pellets in my PCPs. For me it seems to be a good medium - there's a good initial clout because of the kinetic energy from the extra weight, followed by a long wound channel
  6. The best ine I've ever used is an A&M Marksman. There's a few other good ones out there - A&M Twink, Weihrauch, Swift Stumpy Modular, Hogan Decimeter. I couldn't get on with the BSA VC one - it made a metalic chirping sound when I fired through it. Huggetts are pretty but, not one of the best for killing sound.
  7. That's really nice Jimmy - I do like that What adapter do you need? ....... I'm sure I've got a 1/2" male to male adaptor here somewhere that I used to use on the TX.
  8. Do it mate It'd be good to get him and Ethan down here

  10. All are welcome mate - even dog lads If I remember rightly, the last one was done to raise money for a disabled lad
  11. It happens Mark I've had some right shitters when I've been off my game or not in the right frame of mind. I guess the best tips I can give is, be aware of your shape, shine, silhouette and movement. Consider how you smell - I wear a DPM smock that hasn't been washed for months. Also, when stalking in, keep low (even at night) and roll your feet from heel to toe, along the outer edge of your foot. When using NV with IR, I like to keep quarry on the outer edge of the screen until I'm ready to take the shot. That way I'm not pointing the red glow dir
  12. What, no pictures? You know these posts need pictures right?
  13. I've got a mate like that - he tends to piss in the wardrobe when he's had a skin full
  14. I'm up for it, as long as I can get the time off work
  15. Do some research on them Kay - some can be worth a few bob.
  16. Feck me, I don't spend that on a car.
  17. Get twisted and join in with the locals ........ I've had some cracking nights like that.
  18. Excellent scopes Phil - good choice mate They're my faourite. The glass is nice and clear, the AMX reticle works well for me and, I think they're priced well. They work really well with the NS Viper. Enjoy it mate.
  19. Very nice Did the dogs get any chips? ......... It looks like the darker one on the right really wants to get stuck in
  20. I picked up this old .177 HW77 at the RFD a couple of days ago. Paul at the shop told me that at some point 'it had been owned by one of those mob from Vermin Hunters TV'. He had it advertised as a 'Sandwell 77'. I must admit I was a bit dubious because the edge of the sticker looked like it had been picked at. It was very smooth and quiet to cock and, the shot cycle is quick but easily manageable. It's a little scruffy all round but, nothing that can't be sorted. The open sights are missing - I'd like to get those back on there eventually. The
  21. Yes mate - spot on I'd be well happy with that for a couple of hours.
  22. You should try poetry, you silver tongued devil you
