I think they're great - they give you a real sense of achievement I remember the first time I ever saw it, some ol' sort sat back on an arm chair and said 'watch this'. I thought it was good watching her rub one out but, I was a bit surprised when she got one of my shoes wet - I wasn't even stood that close

The 77s a bit like that - although I've got a small scope on low mounts, I still have to put my head forward a little. I reckon both rifles would benefit from an adjustable cheek piece and butt pad.

Well, that's our toughest match of the tournament out of the way. ......... Now I'd like to see a very close England/Wales, 1st and 2nd at the end, with France and Italy planted firmly at the bottom.

Are you dropping magnification by going with that scope Mark? ...... I don't know what you had the Mamba set at. I usually stay at x10 for everything but, I've got a nice little Hawk 4x32 ao that I'm thinking of trying on the FN12 ....... The thing is, everything looks tiny through it in comparison - a 35yrd pigeon head shot would be a gamble.

The used one that I had for a while was the same I give them a bit of stick about being AAs 2nd best springer but, to be fair, they do shoot like a tuned rifle as standard.

That's a pisser mate - I guess, like Walshie said, it'll be difficult to neutralise unless you know what's on it. I worked with an old boy when I was an apprentice coach builder - he swore by vinegar on a scouring pad, followed by thiners to clean off any bad areas of metal. ......... That was on feckin big trailers though. Good luck mate
