If you had to choose between rogering Charles or Anne you would have made the same choice.

Actually Tony Blair isn't a well man. He had to have an areshole transplant, but the arsehole rejected him. Then a triple honesty by-pass operation was cancelled as it wouldn't have made any difference.

I've had rats in a similar type of trap. As others have said, mainly youngsters. If you are going to dispatch them by shooting you'll need a comb in order to stop them running about.

CheapTrail Cam thread revisited
Nicepix replied to comanche's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
The camera looks very much like the one recommended by Greyman last year. It was over forty quid on amazon so you got a good deal. I also had a lot of empty scenes and put it down to mice or whatever passing quickly through the sensor. Switching on the side sensors helped improve the capture rate. Another problem is foliage tripping the camera. On windy nights it can be a big problem. I usually set it to take a photo then 30 seconds of video. Sometimes the varmit appears almost at the end of the video so it is worth checking carefully as sometimes all you get to see are bright spots from -
I was under the impression that Liz couldn't stand the Bliars. That's what she told me anyway.

Don't agree with all of that. Back then Labour was a shambles, had lost their financial backing and the Tories had their snouts deep in the trough. Much like today actually. Bliar created a new party from the ashes of the old Labour party, but had little socialist policies. However, by having 'Labour' in the name of the party and taking over the Labour Party structure it must have attracted plenty of traditional Labour voters too thick to see through it.

Wild Camping, Hiking, Back pack, Tent talk, Mini camper etc.......
Nicepix replied to hawki's topic in General Talk
Use the eels as bait. Whole or in sections. Everything takes eels. I buy 2 kilos of sand eels when they are available in the supermarket. Split them up and vac pack them for the freezer. Beach fishing is like barbel fishing. Cast out and wait for the rod to bend ? -

Aren't there any turbot down that way? I used to fish for them near Newport, albeit in summer. -

I'll be heading down to the Rio Ter for a spot of mullet fishing. The river is full of them -
Don't you mean a waiter?

Got the holdall packed ready for off in the morning We just take the bare minimum. Two rods, two reels, bike, bbq.. All food is sourced locally. I found these nan breads and curry paste in the freezer. Question is; are three pairs of undercrackers enough for a fortnight? -
Yes, half an hour of two blokes messing about on the river. Plus another 30 minutes of sheer tripe. That's the problem.

You mean the covid jab? ?

Its not under the car he needs to worry about. Its driving through tunnels

I nearly got shot because of Randy Andy. He was using his uncle's pad as a shagging den when I turned up in the early hours to let my dogs out for a run on the grass in front of the big house. Next thing I'd got little red dots dancing around my shirt ?

All the references to Christmas when it was filmed in late summer spoiled the program, as did the totally unnecessary appearance of Paul Gasgoine. It is trying to be several things and failing to achieve anything worthwhile. Still, rejoice at what is probably the last tv program to feature two white hetrosexual and (almost) able bodied men.

We watched Brassed Off on DVD last night. I used to live in the pit village where it was set and my Dad worked on the coal face so it has a particular interest for me. More than anything else the theme of the film reflects me. I even pinched the music 'Orange Juice' to make my own documentary film...

Bobbies (real ones, not plastic ones) walking the beat. Anglers float fishing. Cheap holidays in Turkey. Football clubs owned by someone not making money out of it. Dogs under control. Kids not out of control.

I see you are still going to the gym then Kev.

I couldn't bring myself to eat them. They are too good a fishing bait to waste on a sandwich ?

Nicepix replied to kanny's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
I wouldn't dare cast those within 50 yards of a snag in case I lost them. -

You are too modest. Those are as good if not better than some of the shop bought lures I have. -
Yeah. It could be called General Talk ?

Thanks. ? We won't be leaving the site by vehicle. Once the MH is parked up she stays parked. I'll check with the camp site as to whether either of the local towns are doing anything. If the bars and restaurants aren't open there is no point going. As for the weather; we normally spend all day out and either cook the evening meal in the van or go to the camp site restaurant. We take frozen meals to supplement us and there is a supermarket and market in Torroella. The MH has a heater and we have overnighted at -6C down there.
